Avi Loeb recently spoke about using a network of microphones to identify UFOs.

Try tinnitus a a while if you're into noises that never go away. I have 24/7 in both ears, normally at a low level but sometimes it spikes. Its literally like someone turned a dial. Ugh. So if there is a hum I won't know.
