Debbie's BF and his family are heading out of town for the holidays. so they dropped by.
his folks Gave us a $50.00 target gift card.
She gave him a skateboard (much to his folks dismay.) then we gave them a $50 ruth Chris gift card.
then he gave her an evenstar pendant!
"you are my Arwen. And My bright and shinning star."
Debbie took the pendant.
After they left she said "I wonder where he got that from?"
I just shrugged "great minds think alike."
(I told him to say that. )

Started working at 5am this morning, have a full day ahead of me, hope everyone has a fine xmas eve...

I came downstairs to see the tree. the torn off wrappings. Chris's new train set. the broken pinata (a gift from Jose)
The sounds of joy still rang in my ears.
Rikki came from the kichen two cups of cocoa. "we made it again"
I took a mug. "for better or worse."
I said. she laughed. "let's not make a habit of it."

I worked through Xmas and with a sinus infection I picked up from a friend who was sick, thanks buddy lol, still doing this finishing work, all the staining and colouring is done, now I'm on the sealer and top coat steps, using top coat material as a sealer too...I should be done in a few days, it seems like I'm moving parts in and out of the spray booth more then I'm spraying the materials lol...I'm working tomorrow and part of the day Sunday then a full day Monday and taking off new years day...

Dec 29th 1997.. the day my life changed. The day I returned an unwanted power rangers toy. The day I saw a frustrated and overwhelmed Kay-bees employee. 9 wins one loss. Kate has gone from being the team. she is now part of the team. her skill set is slowly improving.
Awareness of the score and her teammates has heightened. She has developed an sense of teamwork that she lacked.
she never quit. I saw to that. videos sent by her coach and I had her watch has given her inspiration.
her coach told me by her sophomore season she will most likely start.
She is pleased .

Just finished watching Killing Gunther, a free view on Amazon Prime. I asked myself a few times why I was watchin this... but somehow it kept my interest..it is a mocumentary of assasins... pretty funny toward the end...

Omg... if you can, go to 1:28:12. Arnold sings during the credits..,

Hearing Arnold sing is the best part. (not a spoiler as long as you skip directly to 1:28:12 but not a second sooner! )

I think my wife is crazy sometimes. she is snowboarding with our twins.
1st windsurfing now this. lol I love it that she is active and enjoying life.

Snowboarding is fun! My twin girls their friends and I enjoyed the day. I did however end up in a snowbank setting off giggles and laughter. “You have the coolest mom.” one of Debbie’s friends laughed. “Right now I’m the coldest mom.” I teased back. As I recovered my board they started to go back to the top. The girl in me returned and I pelted them with snowballs! This started the snowball war of 2019! never to old! Oh and to my husband who called me crazy. I have a snowball with his name on it!
