So I watched the first two episodes of this new season 12 last night...It was a two part story with the Master as mentioned above and the Master was the only highlight of the show, he was great, but before his appearance the story was dull and dragging on without much excitement...Sorry but this incarnation of the Doctor is dull and lifeless, she is the wrong person to fill that role, if it wasn't for the Master and his fine performance the two part episodes would have been so lame...The heart and soul of the Doctor isn't there...
...
My only problem with the show is, We don't know the real future, See, IT's rumored that Chris Chibnall The showrunner was actually informed last year that his two-season contract would not be renewed, And Jodi Whittaker who is close friends with Chibnall "because they have worked on other shows together" is leaving with him.
Are Jodie Whittaker and new 'Doctor Who' showrunner leaving already?
Speculated fact: Whittakers Doctor will Die at the end of this season.
Speculated fact: No one knows the future of the show, This could be the end of the current series with a long possibly four+ year hiatus. This may be all the doctor who we get till 2025.
Some day though, The show will Return. Hopefully, when it does, they will hit all the high notes. The two main problems were, No one really liked Jodi as the doctor, And that's a perfectly fair thing, If people don't like the actor, That's not feminism or a social movement. It's that she may be pretty but she's not interesting she's as bland as oatmeal. I think Casting confused Bland as oatmeal with "Safe" Tragically. As for Chibnall. He succeeded Steven Moffett, Who was the real genius behind the rebooted shows success. They need a compelling believable Doctor And someone who can write as engagingly as Steven Moffett, These things may be difficult to find, But, When those Crucial pieces of the puzzle are found, Doctor who will return.
