Trump, What's up with This Dude?

I really like what we have in Kentucky most of the time. A Republican legislature with a Democratic governor to limit most of the far right bullshit. I voted for the Democratic incumbent just because every Republican governor we get is a fucking disaster. And I really really like the GOP candidate we had, and don't want him to destroy his political career by becoming governor!

If you want Republican party to win, just vote for any other decent Republican.

Trump is by no means sacred cow.

I just want a competent president which we have not had since Ronald Reagan...Biden is ruining this country faster than we can blink an eye, Trump is his own worst enemy, they are both pathetic...I'll be likely voting Libertarian again or vote for Kennedy, too soon to decide yet...

Yeah, can we maybe organise reverse voting survey in forum software, to rate historic US presidents by competence? It would be interesting.

Trump is BACK on the ballot in Colorado: Secretary of State says she will include ex-president's name in the 2024 primary unless the Supreme Court rules he should be disqualified

Donald Trump is back on the presidential ballot in Colorado after an appeal put a stay on the ruling that removed him under an 'insurrection' clause of the U.S. Constitution. The Colorado Republican Party filed on Wednesday asking the U.S. Supreme Court to look at the lower court's ruling that disqualified Trump from running on the presidential ballot in the state due to his role in the January 6 Capitol riot. Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswol announced that Trump will for the time being remain on the ballot, which goes to print on January 5 – unless the Supreme Court affirms the lower court's ruling or otherwise declines to take on the appeal. The 4-3 ruling earlier this month said Trump would not appear on the state's primary ballot, according to a 155-year-old 14th Amendment clause that bans those from office who 'engaged in insurrection.' though Colorado's 10 Electoral College votes are unlikely to go to the Republican candidate anyway in the general election – and the state isn't highly important in the GOP primary – the ruling could set precedent for a slew of other states looking to remove Trump from the ballot.

Maine’s secretary of state removes Trump from Republican primary ballot

Maine Secretary of State DEFENDS her decision to strip Donald Trump from the state's 2024 election ballot - claiming insurrection allegations left her no choice

Sheena Bellows, Maine's secretary of state, on Thursday evening told CNN she was well aware of the historic dimension of her decision to strike Trump from the March primary ballot. 'I am so mindful - and I said this in my decision - that it is unprecedented,' she said. 'No secretary of state has ever deprived a presidential candidate of ballot access based on section 3 of the 14th amendment. But no presidential candidate has ever engaged in insurrection and been disqualified under section 3 of the 14th amendment.' She said that, under Maine law, it did not matter that he had not been criminally convicted of insurrection. And she said she would welcome the U.S. Supreme Court from making the ultimate decision on the legal issues.

More theater, I don't think they realistically believe this will block him. Interesting historical precedent thought.

Shit, I am so tired of Trump. The guy could have been a fantastic president and he blew it in the worst way possible. Time to move on!

I'd vote for RFK Jr. but unfortunately, I couldn't trust a president who can't pronounce the word "nuclear" properly.
Mind you, I'd still trust him more than either Trump or Biden.

Bush Jr, the Shrub, couldn't pronounce nuclear either even after blowing up a whole country claiming he was looking for them.

I reserve the right to change my mind, but right now I'm all in on RFK Jr. Far and away, he seems to be the one who has a chance of actually doing something constructive about the nation's problems. Like me, he is both liberal and conservative which I think is a huge strength. Biden and Trump are both proven losers and I'm sick and tired of both.

Now Illinois and Massachusetts voters try to DISQUALIFY Trump in 2024

Voters in Illinois and Massachusetts have joined the battle to kick Donald Trump off the 2024 election ballot by claiming he was part of an 'insurrection' on January 6.

Free Speech for People is the organization behind the nationwide effort to disqualify the Republican frontrunner that is heading to the Supreme Court.

The liberal advocacy group claims he can't run for election because he violated the insurrection clause of the 14th Amendment of the Constitution.

They have now filed two new petitions following the controversial decisions in Colorado and Maine that Trump is ineligible to run for office because of his role on January 6.

The Supreme Court is set to hear at least one of the cases trying to end Trump's 2024 election candidacy after his lawyers appealed.

Supreme Court agrees to decide whether Trump can be kept off GOP primary ballot

The Supreme Court has agreed to consider whether Donald Trump should remain on Colorado's 2024 ballot.

The decision puts the nine justices in the center of the 2024 primary election cycle as oral arguments are set for February 8. Trump himself nominated three of the justices currently on the bench - Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.

It uncommonly fast for the Supreme Court to set arguments in a case so soon - signaling how critically important a decision is before states begin printing their primary ballots.

Trump tells eco mob protester to 'go home to your mommy' after heckling him in Iowa: Activists calling ex-president 'climate criminal' are dragged out

Donald Trump told young protesters who infiltrated his campaign stop in Indianola, Iowa on Sunday to 'go home to mommy' and to 'grow up' after experiencing his first outburst at a rally in years.

A group of environmental protesters interrupted Trump's rally in Indianola, Iowa on Sunday, holding up banners accusing the former president of being a 'climate criminal.'

The demonstrators were littered throughout the crowd, and were escorted out of a student union building where Trump was holding a final rally before Iowa's caucuses on Monday.

Not only those backing Trump were inspired to come out in the -18-degree weather, but those opposing his candidacy also decided it was worth it to brave the cold.

'Thank you darling, thank you. That's alright,' Trump said to the first protesters who interrupted the rally saying. 'Go home to mommy, you're mommy's waiting. Go home to mommy.'

'So young. So young,' he continued after a few other protesters burst out in chants. 'You know, it's amazing because that used to happen all of the time, and I don't think it's happen in two-and-a-half or three years.'

'So anyway, so young and immature.'

The ex-president said the interruptions 'always add excitement.'

'They'll grow up and understand that it's very important what we're doing when we speak from common sense,' the former president said of the young protesters.

He noted that protesters have not descended on his rallies in more than two years.

The same group of protesters also appeared at rallies held by biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the Des Moines rea the week leading up to the Iowa caucuses.

That is one thing I do like him for, he is willing to stand up to the idiots. Unfortunately, it does drag him down to their level more often than not.
