I've already dug up 3 external light bending cases: Norwood, Burkes Flats, and Taize. But it would always be nice to find even more of them

No luck as yet mate but did see there were quite a few examples of 'solid light' where the beam appears to have been 'sawn off' or abruptly end.

As for malfunctioning timepieces more below on the 1957 Santa Fe case where J. Martinez and A. Galegoz drove down the highway and witnessed a strange 'egg shaped object with red, green and yellow lights' approach them at a very low altitude.

Apparently the unknown object emitted a loud humming noise and came directly over their car illuminating the entire area with 'a great glow' - their car engine died and both their wristwatches stop working.

In the first week of November 1957, a series of dramatic and unusual UFO events occurred which caused great concern at the highest levels of government and changed the way many people viewed the UFO phenomenon. Sputnik 1 had been launched one month earlier, and the launch of Sputnik 2 was imminent. Then, in the first week of November 1957, a dramatic wave of UFO encounters struck the states of Texas and New Mexico.

The apparent primary target was a small town called Levelland. What happened in Levelland, Texas was unprecedented and had never occurred before, and has yet to be repeated. Dozens of people in Levelland and the surrounding areas reported UFOs disabling their vehicles, causing the electrical system to fail and the car engines to cease functioning.

In case after case, UFOs buzzed cars at low level, and often landed on the road, blocking their way forward. UFO car-stalling cases were well-known among UFO researchers, but this brazen and audacious level of activity had never been reported before. While the small town of Levelland, Texas and the surrounding area first appeared to be the target, the truth was much different. In fact, similar and often identical encounters occurred across the United States and the world, involving not only car-stalling cases, but many bizarre electromagnetic effects on a wide variety of machines.

Hey mate, there's a pretty darn interesting sighting report below from a Doctor of technical sciences in Russia, 1978.

UFO Report from N. F. Kusov - Strokino, Kazan, Russia. May, 1978

As he sat in his study he noticed an uncommon light shining from outside, apparently from behind some trees. He decided to go investigate the source and saw at about 100 feet from the light, in a clearing, a cigar shaped object, 8 meters in length, sitting on the earth at one end and up the the air at the other end, at a 45-degree angle.

Kusov approached to within 15 feet of the object, which emanated a beautiful orange light with different tints. As he approached the object even further, he suddenly felt his insides "bursting" open, he realized he was being enveloped in a low frequency, 7 hertz, field.

Kusov took several steps back, and the discomfort passed. He approached again and the same thing happened. At this point he noticed to his consternation how the rays of the sun seemed to be absorbed by the surface of the object, seemingly entering what it appeared to him as a "black hole".

Shaken by what he had seen, Kusov walked back to the dacha but suddenly broke into a run towards the object, which still sat on the ground, again he could not approach the craft due to the high degree of discomfort.

Suddenly the object rose above the earth to about 2-3 meters, and then shot away vertically upward. Kusov felt no shockwave emanating from the object's liftoff. Shocked, he stood around for 5 minutes then frightened walked back to the dacha. There, he looked at his wristwatch and was astonished to see that almost 5 hours had passed and he thought he had only been outside for 30 minutes.

One problem with these cases is that he might have been abducted, instead of him experiencing a true time-dilation.

Caught In A Bubble

Another pretty unusual case below from Portugal on January 6th, 1978 reported by Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos involving a bright blue glowing object and seven foot shiny humanoid

One of the witnesses reported a weird buzzing sensation in his head and then his watch stopped.

Also a weird Aussie one here involving a 'domed disc', pendulum motion and stopped clocks.

June 14, 1973; nr Tyringham, Australia
Domed disk making noise like aboriginal "bull-roarer" descends like "falling leaf or pendulum", and that morning a lady from Dundurrabin heard strange noises and weird "moonlight" through her window.
Her clock was discovered to have stopped [though it wasn't electric]. She thought this was odd when her neighbors came to her house to inquire about the time since their clock had stopped too.

Stopped car clock case from Denmark in 1995 with some freaky details: the windscreen wipers were going at great speed; the thermometer shot up to red; the rev counter/speedometer shot to maximum; the dog in car 'tried to bury itself in front seat' etc..


The driver also quoted 'a strange, oppressive sensation from above' like in some other incidents (more info at link).

A POWERFUL LIGHT EXPLODES OVER THE VEHICLE
…After three or four fruitless attempts [to restart his car] he suddenly became aware of a strange, oppressive sensation 'from above', like some sort of physical influence that he found hard to describe...
Without warning - and without a sound - an enormously powerful light practically 'exploded' over the vehicle. The light came from above, and it was blinking or pulsing quickly at regular intervals. The witness saw the light through the windscreen, looked up and saw a huge disc above him. He was scared, but immediately opened the door, put his left foot on the road and leaned halfway out, his left hand on top of the door and his right hand on the steering wheel. His dog was whining and trying to hide, trying vainly to 'bury' itself under the front seat.
THE LIGHT SOURCE
The light was dazzling and he had to squint to see anything. He saw a large disc, 12-15 metres in diameter, just three or four metres above the car. The disc's outer edge was dark against the background of the starry sky. A little further in he could see a number of concentric circles of light, which were closer together the nearer they were to the centre of the disc..

Also this bizarre tale involving a doctor who had a very strange UFO encounter on an island in Russia's 'Zone M' (the Molebka Triangle) - he returned to the island with a scientific expedition 12 years later and all their watches stopped.

John Keel documented many cases in which MIB (alien in disguise type) visited witnesses in their homes and were utterly fascinated with clocks, as if they came from a place where they had never been invented. They also were very afraid of microwave ovens, moving about in a manner as to keep as much distance possible from the microwave even if it was not in use. I really need to go on a used book buying spree and get all of his books. They are now old enough to where most public libraries no longer catalog them.

Right on mate and thanks for the reminder - will have to go back and check those accounts out. The more years go by the more I reckon Keel was definitely onto something with his wacky ideas about super spectrums and shifted reality frequencies etc.
