It can be anything. It can be a tool, a person and etc.. For me i think the most useful thing i can think of right now is the smartphone and internet. There are alot of things a smatphone can do, like for example u can travel anywhere with the GPS & never get lost and etc.
One of the most useful manmade items I have is my tablet, from business to personal to financial it has become my central hub so to speak, it's also heavily encrypted and secure...Three years ago I did not see a need or a use for a tablet, then two years ago I buy one of the top models available at a hefty price, now I've come to rely upon it daily... My Australian Shepherd does very useful tasks for me daily, one of which is being a great friend...He seems so tuned or in sync to me and he's very intelligent...Twelve years ago I did not want or need a dog, now currently with my second dog I can't see myself without one in my life...
Air conditioning. I get over heated, easily & often. Which, I suppose, I would have to include electricity because otherwise the air conditioners would be useless. Although right now, because it's winter, all I have to do is open the balcony window an inch or two.
Also something I have is a small pocketknife. I use it all the time for opening post parcels or cutting string or for digging out the odd splinter in my fingers in winter.
most useful thing for me has been my creative mind. my balanced emotions and a body that seems to be capable of a myriad of works. as far as most useful tool. probably my hands.
The most useful thing is food and water. Next is a house (I've camped before and it loses its charm after a while). Next (close contest) is a phone and a car. Then Internet. At this point you leave "need" territory and move into "want" territory.
That is a "want". You need to make the bucks to have a family. They don't call your future wife a Finance for nothing.
