only seems interesting until I reveal what I as talking about. Probably a lesson there for some paranormal investigator somewhere - imagination has a lot more flavor. Yesterday was just a stupid can of spray primer I have been using. Almost full. Used it about 6 months ago. Properly cleaned & stored and yet when I need it ... pfffft ....
The other day it was a snow shovel. In
1994 I bought a nice shiny red Thunderbird and bought a compact snow shovel for the trunk. Never used it. Been carrying that p.o.s around since then. Until the other day when it had the chance to shine. First scoop an it shattered like sugar glass !!
25 years and it was useless!
I bought two Austrian military surplus folding shovels for about 30 bucks - one for my wife and one for me. Designed for serious digging. Like, as if your life depended on it because it might. Leftovers from probably the '70s. I won't be needing any more shovels.
Like that damned can of primer (Rustoleum Clean Metal Primer has the PF seal of approval when it works) I hate it when you can't get the last bit of product out of a container. WD-40 and PB Blast have now attached their spray tubes directly to the can - solving a problem I hadn't been having. Now I always wind up with a certain amount sloshing around the can that I can't get out. Drives me nuts. Not to worry though! I casually mentioned that to a chatty Home Depot employee and - wait for it -
he suggested that I boil these large aerosol cans and that'll solve the problem .......
Well, to be fair that
will likely get the rest of the stuff out. I guess I'm being too picky.
