A little later and DV's response is gone - Randallbot is so confident of his arguments that he bravely edits and deletes other people's posts:

They seem to be made for each other. She's just about as bullheaded as he is. She does make more sense, in that one can tell what her calcified opinion is from her messages. She is always forming opinions on topics she knows nothing about, then mulishly "defending" them no matter what anyone else might bring to the discussion. Yep, match made in heaven.Yeah that’s the one - she and JRM have got this ontological thing going on. They have to meet “secretly” on that forum as it’s illegal in Canada
Oh, indeed. The Randallbot is just one of those guys that won't shut up and can't resist jabbering at length about nothing at all. If there's one thing he likes, it's most definitely Randalllyak!wow - why say something with just one word when you can spout a thousand ! crazy man - I wish I'd read this before ever having bothered to try to rationalise with him on the Paracast forum. He's like the proverbial "nutter on the bus" - oh my god. I can remember being into these things in such a nerdy way when I was a kid - before I discovered women! Me and some of my mates had a "ufo club" and we each had our own garden shed "HQ" , typed up little ID card and badges, we had secret codes and went on ufo hunts on our pedal bikes. Sounds like that guy never grew out of that stage - probably never discovered women! Blimey it all begins to make some sort of crazy sense now!!
I would not have ordinarily posted something like this. In regard to podcasts, other people's lifestyle's do not overly concern me and neither does their past behavior. Brian Dunning had his problems and appears to have recovered from them. I enjoyed Skeptoid but don't listen to that show anymore because at last check the solicitations were becoming onerous. None of my business what car the man drives, where he lives or his personal habits. Current behavior as it relates to a show or its attendant forums does concern me, and that's why I left.
I saw this today. I still look because maybe someone interesting will come back on - they have had some good guests in the past, some even fairly recently. Something USI posted yesterday:

For the good of the community. Indeed. In other areas when a particular interest group attempts something like a fund drive, a march, a public meeting - and then does a face plant they often take the polite out by saying "at least we raised awareness"
I admit that some of the stuff in this thread doesn't sit well with me, but overall it has raised the awareness of the community.
Another thing that could be brought to light is what just happened to this forum. You know, the one using the same forum software that other forums use. I guess the raised level of awareness regarding security vulnerabilities was a noble effort designed to do nothing other than selflessly benefit others.
Wide eyed do-gooders can have a surprisingly narrow field of view.
Sigh. I have to say, and this is on me, I wanted to take a break from commenting on Gene and his ways, since I felt I was getting too mean about things. But now J. Randall Murphy has got me irritated. So I'm venting about both of them. I should've tried harder to stay out of it. Oh well.
He actually believes there will come a point where they have a paid staff ?! What world are these two nincompoops living in?I would not have ordinarily posted something like this. I know what you mean - he's so bloody irritating, pretty stupid too, but he really thinks that he's some sort of genius! So we're never going to get through to him. You just have to take a look at his USI website to get an idea of his pretty juvenile mentality. Nobody's really listening/writing to him anyway - other than dear Constance

New projects?
No food, but going to a food bank (or the senior center) apparently gives him nightmares.

I wonder what progress he imagines he could have made overnight?
