3200 Phaethon

The three mile wide asteroid 3200 Phaethon will come within 6.4 million miles of Earth tomorrow. It'll be the closest approach since 1974. The video said the distance is 2 million miles on the 17th.

I think they miss more than they are telling us about , we are a sitting duck as far as these space rocks are concerned.

Another issue is the fact that both terrestrial and off world groups have technology that can see into the future. If a large asteroid strikes the planet they knew and allowed it to happen. The Earth has been hit in the past, some times with catastrophic consequences ,we have nothing to stop the big ones or small ones for that matter for coming in and hitting us . Its just a matter of time before a huge one arrives on a collision course with us. All the authorities can do is warn us .
