Once again, I've come across a good show I didn't know about. It's called Primeval. It's an adventure, sci-fi show that so far could be considered family fare. It ran from 2007 to 2011. The description:
"Primeval follows a team of scientists tasked with investigating the appearance of temporal anomalies across the United Kingdom through which prehistoric and futuristic creatures enter the present, as well as trying to stop the end of the world."
It is available on both Hulu and CW Seed.
