Yes since he was moving fast the cloud....(which isn't moving fast).....would vanish suddenly as he passed through it. He said it was filling up his radar screen and then was gone....which to me sounds like he flew through a cloud.

I think Castle's point here is that perhaps the radar info was in error or was picking up something other than an actual moving craft. My understanding is that no one actually saw a spaceship so perhaps this was a weather issue that fooled their radar.

My understanding is that no one actually got a visual of the object, although the radar showed something...It could have been an error of radar but it could have been a real unidentified object and that possibility should not be discounted because of lack of evidence...There is no evidence of radar malfunction either...

Isn't evidence what it's all about..? And this was a long time ago.....how do we know at this point there wasn't a radar error..? btw...all we have at this point is this guys comments. IMHO it's a waste of time to even explore this case..there simply isn't enough to look at here.

Of course we all want evidence but when it's lacking doesn't mean we just toss a report in the can without first looking at the details which could or could not be important...:cool8:

There were numerous accounts in WW2 of vectoring fighters to an area because of radar contacts only to find a weather system and clouds. Their radar was working fine at the time.

Besides clouds/weather is something. Also by 1992 he was already getting details as to the aircraft he flew in 1957 and his missile systems wrong.....so his accounts 20 years or so after that should also be questioned.
