Yes it does sound odd, its not right, I know the book I read many years ago did not have 'then' in the title...

I know it is likely unfair to quote something from another thread...
    but,
if you are outside space and time, you don't actually need a memory,
you can simply go look at it all just like we look at things written on paper.
but it is clear that memories are also possible, and I am really not sure where they are stored.

so what we are likely seeing is that changes are being made, so going and looking at reality no longer matches the memories.
I am convinced that what we are seeing is not the primary changes, we are seeing unintended fallout from some sort of history altering.

Something seems to be going on, some kind of changes have been made I think...I wish I had that same copy of the book I read back in the 80s, I have no doubt the title was "Life is real only when I am"...There was no 'then' in the title, and Toroid's post above about FDR, that's nuts...

No idea about any of that but I grew up in Hyde Park, NY and am more than a little familiar with FDR. Delano for as long as I've been alive. I'll be driving past Springwood tomorrow and see if anything's changed.

What color do you remember Winnie the Pooh’s balloon when he uses it to get honey out of the tree?...Some people remember it being red, but apparently its blue now...

It was always Delano for me. I would have bet money it was Berenstein Bears, but I noticed when I was a little kid that things were not always the way I thought they were. It's nothing new for me. I figured it was just the way memory works, or at least the way my memory works. There are lots of interesting videos on the subject of how our perceptions work, with demonstrations you can try yourself. That stuff comes up frequently in discussions of audio gear, for example. We think we can hear differences that don't really exist. We can't distinguish between some things that are measurably different. We think all sorts of things that are just not true.

Having said all that, some of this stuff is really interesting. I particularly enjoy the stories of buildings that suddenly appear where there was an empty lot for as long as some neighbor could remember, or trees that come and go, and suchlike. I do think we move in and out of various "fields" for example, and many things we think impossible happen constantly.

Then there is this disturbing development: Shit is now leaking into 3D reality from old 8-bit video games. This can't be good.

The best thing about the final season of The X-Files was the guy from the loony bin who remembered a life at the FBI working alongside Mulder and Scully, and their investigation into "the Mengela effect"...so hilarious =D

Watching The Lost Art of Forehead Sweat should be required for anyone interested in these topics. That's one of my faves, right up there with Jose Chung's From Outer Space

Here's a video of FDR's swearing in ceremony and he says Del-a-no x4. His middle name now anagrams to Loaned or No Deal as if a designed code imbued into his name. He supposedly created of the New Deal & the Second New Deal. Years ago I anagrammed all the president's names thinking I would get some interesting results. What I found was nothing which told me there must be something unique about the presidents. Mathematically the 44 names should've yielded something about their fate or actions during their presidencies. Andrew Basiago claims Barack was taken to Mars. Was this done to blank slate his fate? Did they do that to all POTUS's? The proclaimed super soldier James Casbolt said while at the Dulce facility he saw a reptilian return from the a time travel trip to make alterations during the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917. Could their actions be causing the Mandela Effect?

I checked the list of elements to see if any of the names may have changed. I imagine changes in any of the numbers would alter our physical reality. The ones I don't recognize are number 42 Molybdenum, 43 Technetium, 51 Antimony, 52 Tellurium, 62 Samarium, 63 Europium.

I was in Hyde Park yesterday and decided to stop by the FDR site. The front gate offered no clues
    upload_2019-12-1_8-55-44.png

So while Mrs.Pigfarmer and our dog waited patiently in the car I walked over to the grave marker and it hasn't changed that I can remember. I pedaled my bike here often enough as a kid.
This isn't a stock photo, I was standing in front of it. Not the easiest thing to get a picture of - very light colored on a bright day

Went home and dug through the old family photos, and while it isn't distinct enough to read was sort of cool looking
The album belonged to my aunt and the newest thing in there is 1945
    upload_2019-12-1_8-58-49.png

So it was Delano yesterday and pretty sure it was Delano in 1945. I have family photos from the event that I can't find that are much clearer. Maybe they vanished in the haze of the Mengele Effect.

At a minimum I could show you it was Delano in the late '70s because I graduated from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School
