The congressional armed services and intelligence committees are stepping up their pressure on the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community on UFOs--and proposing bold new mechanisms to probe for hidden or buried historical UFO data.

I think there are some bombshell UAP secrets lurking in various hidden projects or in archives somewhere, however I don't think the congressional committees have reached that conclusion yet, as you said, it's more of an "open-minded exploration"...Some of the secrets might get buried deeper because of this probe...
