There's some speculation that the Polynesian people may have been the survivors of a previous advanced civilization. This is based on some speculation about the origins of kites. Polynesians had no written records other than some board like texts, can't recall what they are, but like American Indian wampum belts and blankets these told stories. I don't think anyone can read the remains that do exist.

The issue over the origins of kites is typically glossed over and most sources say they came out of China, but the evidence suggests they actually came out of the Polynesian Islands and were transferred over to the mainland of Southeast Asia which made their way to the Chinese Empire eventually where they were naturally recorded and replicated and later put to use in war.

Knowledge of kites and making kites seems to be ancient to the Polynesian Culture. If so this suggests that contacts were made across the Southern Hemisphere by the Polynesians and what with their ocean capable culture it's plausible that their knowledge of the oceans could have lead to early explorations that have been lost in time.

Fratty and out of touch.
I think it's very possible. There is a lot of evidence suggesting the Chinese may have reached the US mainland before Columbus.

Bet that's a picture of a Chinese Junk.

Yea, I wished that maybe someone here was a Seahag and could identify the type of ship shown in the drawing. I can't see any reason that this wouldn't be a real drawing, but the officially approved version of reality is in flux right now, and there might be a reason to be suspicious. The global chessboard is changing and this drawing might be yet one more sign post that it is changing. What this means is a re-writing of history may be in order.

One of the ways that's employed in creating future history is to pre-program thoughts by slowly feeding information in to the mass consciousness. History is the first weapon and tool of all rulers. Whenever anything happens history is the first thing that's brought up.

Chinese Junk you say huh? Well I don't think this drawing is a part of a revised history in the making, but it is a kind of re-education for Europeans types. China has a 5,000 year old recorded history and it once had great fleets and did conduct vast ocean explorations.

I always laugh when I hear blustering coming out the clowns in DC, the UK, Berlin or wherever else when it comes to China. Yea, right and lets see your nation is how old? Sit on it and spin ill educated buffoons.

Most usually the Aboriginals drew what they actually saw. Our country about the same as yours we are all Colonials.
