I'm very disappointed my country only let 1 go. IMO They should all go..
Diplomacy can still be done if needed..

Interested to hear what others think about it...

And the gasline running a few hundred miles from here under the Baltic Sea..
That one should be plugged ASAP.. thats an IV drip to the E.U with russian political agenda.

This looks like pre-war posturing. It reminds me of the story in this thread.
Genghis Khan's Wrecking Machine
In 1218 CE, Genghis Khan, the ruler of Mongolia, sent a trade delegation to Shah Ala ad-Din Mohammad, the ruler of the neighboring Khawarizm Empire of Iran.

The caravan comprised 100 Mongol escorts, 450 merchants and 500 camels laden with silk, fur, gold, silver and other luxurious goods, including gifts for the Persians.

The caravan was on its way to the shah’s palace in Bokhara but was stopped at the border town of Otrar, where the governor, Inalchuq, under orders from Mohammad, slaughtered every one of them and buried their bodies to hide the dastardly act.

I'd class myself as having average intelligence. If I wanted to kill someone; it would be stupid of me to leave the knife sticking out of someone's heart with my name/ address & fekin fingerprints on it- would it not??

From what I've been told this is pretty much what highly intelligent Russian secret service etc whatever have done!?!

Am I missing something here or am I below average intelligence & just stupid??? i don't know-- what do you lovely people think?

the whole thing doesn't smell right to me!?

They could have used an ice bullet on them but no doubt they did not want to be seen nor heard by the victims . So sliming the front door with nerve agent seems to be the way they chose to go. Got the job done , almost.

the point i'm making is:

why leave a calling card? because we all know who did it, apparently! do the Russian want us to know they did it? have they been set up? or are they just stupid?
personally i'd say the Russian KGB/ secret service (whatever) are not that stupid- so i'll rule that one out- which leaves us with the other 2 options-- unless you can think of another one?

Its not the first time they have done this on foreign soil. The job is done as far as they are concerned. It will die down eventually as most things do and then we will have to wait until next time.

no, yet again you're missing point== i'm asking you to put forward a specific opinion to a question, which is:

why let the UK know they (the Russians) did it?

As Above So Below
I just assumed without reading in detail that they slipped up, the 'calling card' was unintentional, a botched job...I wonder how many other people have died in the world from other activities that remained under the radar and went unnoticed?...

do you honestly believe that this is a botched job? so the Russian KGB (whatever) are stupid then?

None of the above. They don't care what we think and have proved that many a time. My opinion is Mr Skripal has given more information and it cost him big. It's a statement by the Kremlin that if you do this, this is what will happen. So I say that greed has probably cost him his life.
