Freetown-Fall River State Forest

Located in the infamous Bridgewater Triangle, this place has been a pretty intriguing point of interest to me, especially being somewhat close in proximity to where I live currently. I first heard of the area when I researched Thunderbirds years ago after watching a documentary regarding eye witness accounts.

Last year, a couple of my friends decided they wanted to drive out there and investigate it. It was strange to me, as I was really the only one in my small group of friends who isn't a skeptic, and usually get made fun of for it. (However one of my friends has been coming around lately) We didn't really experience anything, however we did stumble on a really long road, and apparently at some point it became private property. While we were leaving the car, we were approached by an older gentleman with a flashlight, and he told us he lived nearby and that we were trespassing. We told him we would leave, but were wondering if he had any stories, living so close. He told us his wife believed in a lot of the stories and urban legends about the Bridgewater Triangle, but that he never really bought into it, and he regretted doing so. I guess she had passed away a few years prior, and he had walked their dogs on the property and experienced some weird things, from orbs in the night sky, to shadow people by a giant cliff side with the face of a Native American chief carved into it.. I remember I told him even though his wife is no longer with him, she's probably ecstatic he got to experience things she tried to make him see for so long.. :)

Like I said, I witnessed nothing here personally, and don't intend on going back there anytime soon, even though the entire area is ~200 sq. miles, and there was probably a better way for us to approach it.

What's the most recent sighting from that area?...

Lived next to the hockomock swamp for 5 years.....except for an alleged ghost sighting I never heard about anything going on there. The life long residents never added anything and they knew I was into it. There is very limited area there to hide anything out of the ordinary.
