Ghosts Photographed at Hotel

full-stairs.jpeg

John Mausling, his wife Jessica Martinez-Mausling and their children visited the Stanley Hotel, a popular tourist spot near the Rocky Mountain National Park, in September. None remember seeing anything unusual on their spirit tour, a popular guided trip through the hotel highlighting its haunted history, but it wasn’t hard to spot something strange in one of the photographs of their guide on a staircase. Taken from above, the shot shows what appears to be a ghostly apparition of a girl near the guide and a second glowing apparition next to her.

Being of sound mind and body, the Mauslings immediately contacted not the Stanley Hotel, not the police, not the Ghostbusters (neither the females nor the males) but the Huffington Post, which reported their account and published the photograph. They commented that no one in their family nor the tour group remembers seeing a young girl, which is what most people who see the photo think the larger shape is.

That includes Ben Hansen, the host of “Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files,” who told Huffington Post that he didn’t see anything abnormal, so it could definitely be paranormal.

“I really like this photo. Assuming that it’s not doctored, it ranks up there as one of the best photos of possible paranormal evidence I’ve seen. If it is faked, I’ve got to hand it to them for their level of detail and creativity because there’s usually enough easy signs to suggest hoaxing.”

That may be true, but there are some unusual aspects to the photograph. The ‘girl’ apparition is in a direct line of glare from a light on the wall. The window reflects the hanging lights, which are clearly visible, but there is a second reflection of lights below it whose source is not seen.

The mirror on the wall shows the back of the man’s head but the rest of the reflection doesn’t seem to match up with the people along the window or in front of him. Then there’s the second apparition. While it looks like it could be a ghostly head and shoulders, no body or legs are seen through the stair railings.

If it’s another person walking up the stairs, why aren’t more of the people blurred due to a long exposure?

That's an unusual ghost image. Obviously it only appeared via the camera because no one is looking at it. The slippers look real. Between the odd lights, mirrors and window the perfect conditions could have illuminated the entity.

It's very unusual, the girl on the stairs shows up in the image well, the other ghost near the woman seems to be moving fast giving off more blur than the girl...

At Peace.
Whatabout the monkey wolf boy sitting by the window? and the distorted head of the person next to it, or the blanket drapped over the left arm on the right... blurred as well...

The hands on the ghost on the stairs appears it would have been pushing something like a stroller, shopping cart or possibly a walker.

Like it doesn't regard the steps as an obstruction?...

Those ghosts really need to get with the program. Check out the address 333 E Wonderview Ave, Estes Park, CO 80517 :ohmy8:

This looks to be the same stairs in the hotel.

Metanoia
Hotels are great places for ghosts to hang out in . They are usually in either the walls or cupboards for some reason . The Fairmont Hotel at Leura New South Wales Australia is one such haunted place it is said that on the 4th floor there is one particular room that guests refuse to sleep in as attested by this commentary.

Rundown & Haunted!!
It was our first get away after my husband and I got married. We thought it be nice to get out of Sydney.

When we arrived to the Fairmount Hotel we were blown away how beautiful the landscape was. When we walk through into the lobby we felt a weird feeling, it was extremely aerie. Our rooms apparently were refurbished but still looked old. They just installed flat screen TV’s to every room which made a slight difference. The view from our room was amazing. That night whilst we were sleeping weird things occurred to the point we had to ask for another room at 5:30am as we were petrified.
They next morning we asked staff members weather the place was haunted and they said that many guests had complained and that staff had experienced ghosts extra on the 4th floor in the Girlongirl Wing which we happened to be staying in. They changed our rooms without any fuss to another wing and another floor. The next night we had no problems. We were given another room which wasn’t refurbished and honestly I preferred the non refurbished room. The place was rundown but definitely has potential.

On a positive note the staff were brilliant, the golf was amazing and the location was peaceful and picturesque. I recommend eating out in the Leura Village at the French Restaurant and Silks.

If you do stay there just don’t stay in on the 4th floor in the Girlongirl Wing

Man, that's the most beautiful hotel I've ever seen.

As long as you can only see the ghosts on camera and not face to face, I wouldn't mind staying there for awhile.

If you ever visit the UK there are a ton of Olde world hotels that look like museums and have an ambience all of their own.

Maybe the mirrors contribute to their appearance.
Stanley-Hotel-7.jpg

Or maybe the mirrors assisted in allowing us to see the ghosts, the right lighting reflected around the room to light them up...

If you place two identical mirrors on opposite walls in a hall it creates an artificial infinity. They say you can see things move as if actual people in other dimensions.

The shadow

My wife Was at the Stanley Hotel.
I will inform her of this topic.
