If the Hypothetical Aliens really exist. and are as technologically advanced so as to travel to Earth from vast distances, could they take over the entire planet without the Humans on the Planet ever
being aware of what was happenning ???

Could this be happening right now and all, if not most, observable alien phenomena being accidental slips in the process ???

Are ants aware of Humans observing them ? - Why believe that you have any real awareness of real alens operating incognito ???

Is the AI already incorporated in computers of today using stealth advanced alien technology now taking control of you and the World you live in ???

They have been visiting here for thousands of years. For all we know, the aliens could have been here before us. If the aliens wanted to take over I see no reason they couldn't do it, however they have chosen not to so far. Colonialism is ultimately a losing game, much easier and more profitable in the long run to keep subservient civilizations in your sphere of influence and get what you need from them without the responsibility of governing them and taking care of their needs. Whatever the aliens need from us, they are getting it without taking over or even establishing mass contact and communication. I think they have certainly intervened in our affairs from time to time, i.e. the Vedas, but that's not normally how they operate.

An androgynous alien species called the Taelons arrive on earth, claiming to be companions of humanity, putting an end to crime, illness, and famine. I love how in Star Trek, when you need to make aliens just change the skin color and head shape a bit from Earth people and you're there.
