I've been to Japan twice, Both times I went I was too young to fully understand the culture, See in America, If someone is Rude to someone, Well that sucks, and they may get some disgruntled looks.

In Japanese culture, Rudeness is an unacceptable thing, Beligerant rudeness is actually illegal.
All of this aside, Did you know that in Japan If a person Discoveries alien Life, They are legally required by the Japanese government to report this find to authorities, The Japanese Government warns that Extraterrestrial life is a public safety and health concern, So you Must let the secretary-general of the united nations know that you found aliens. It's a neat little factoid that I didn't know. I thought you guys may like to know as well.

I think it's mentioned in law five on this list in the video.

So if someone is say abducted there or strongly believes she is, is she legally required to report the abduction? Or her sleep paralysis or whatever...

Cool. But why notify the UN rather than the Japanese authorities?

I'm not exactly sure, I can only assume that someone "could" report it to any authority and it would be passed along, I'm thinking it's only worded this way to imply the importance that the message does reach the U.N.

If they are convinced that it was in fact a genuine abduction, Yes. It's more common than you would think there to report things like this, so common that no one scoffs at it. Japan's new first lady says rode UFO to Venus - Reuters

Sounds like theyre pretty much the opposite of Germany on UFOs...

Germany only denies and ridicules, ive heard. On the official level at least. They even deny they study UAPs/UFOs at all.

Kinda funny when theyre a neigbouring country with France, that has an official government program GEIPAN that studies UAP encounters.
