Is this the ghost of Admiral Nelson's wife? Shadowy figure roams around the upper chamber of the HMS

  • Tony Ferguson, 33 believes he spotted the ghost of Frances 'Fanny' Nelson
  • He was exploring the HMS Victory and claims he felt somebody following him
  • To the naked eye Tony saw nothing but this figure appeared on his camera
  • The vessel was Admiral Nelson's flagship in the Battle of Trafalgar and Nelson's wife is said to have regularly visited him

This is the chilling moment the 'ghost of Admiral Nelson's wife' was seen wandering around the HMS Victory before disappearing through a wall.

The spine-tingling footage appears to show the ghostly figure of a woman in a dress and heels walking through the upper chamber of the warship.

Tony Ferguson, who has a keen interest in the paranormal, was exploring the vessel during a day out when he felt like something was following him.

The vessel was Admiral Nelson's flagship in the Battle of Trafalgar and Nelson's wife is said to have regularly visited him during his time as vice-admiral.

Tony, 33, who works as a personal trainer, took out his video camera when he felt a presence and began filming around the chamber.

While he didn't see anything with his naked eye, when Tony watched the footage back he had captured a womanly figure, who he believes is the ghost Frances 'Fanny' Nelson.

Tony, from Southampton, said: 'I arrived at the HMS Victory first thing in the morning and I knew I had the whole upper chamber to myself but I kept feeling like someone was following me.

'I got out my camera and as I panned around the camera picked up this woman in a dress.

'What is so strange is I didn't see anything at all with my own eyes. If I had seen an actual person there I would have put the camera down straight away.

'But when I watched the video back later, there she was. She walked straight across the chamber and then disappeared through a solid wall so she must have gone through it.

.

That does look like an actual person. It was probably staged.
