Kentucky Resident Sees ‘Reptilian Humanoid’

As Above So Below
BURLINGTON, Ky. — A Kentucky resident claims he saw a reptilian humanoid. The man, who says he saw the entity twice, explains he was sitting in his dining room when the first creature showed up.

“It was dark outside. I had an extremely strong feeling to look outside. When I looked out the window, I saw a dark and slim figure standing about 10 feet away from the house,” he said.

The eyewitness says the being then looked at him with his “piercing red eyes”.

“They looked like they were glowing.”

The second time he reportedly saw it, he was able to notice more of its physical details.

“I was driving home from work, it was around 10 p.m.. I turned onto my street when I saw it walking by.”

The man then claims he pulled over and was able to watch a “dark green, scaly” creature with “big red eyes”. The being, he says, then ran in front of his car and quickly disappeared into the woods.

Haven't read of this one yet, thanks for sharing. Probably the hottest paranormal place in Kentucky is the Frazier Land in Anderson County, about 40 miles from my house.

@Shadowprophet and @Tate also live in Kentucky maybe they have heard of it.
Well, We do get reports at times of unexplained things. But I assumed it was like this almost everywhere.

I can tell you guys. I don't know your stand on the spiritual. My father and uncle were Raised Devoutly Christian. My father Thinks A lie is one the worst things one person can do to another. HE raised me and my brother to believe Lies are a kind of negativity that affects a person's spiritual worth. My Dad, Who believe's lies corrupt a persons soul, Told me a story once, Of him and my uncle, This was 1957 in Monroe County Kentucky, The little town of persimmon.

My father and Uncle were out Hunting in the woods near their home. When they Felt a noise. Yes. you read the correctly, They felt a noise, It was like an ultra low sound almost inaudible. It felt like a vibration with static electricity. It was uncomfortable he explained. They begin to search for the source, They were all but certain it was Radiation or some kind of nuclear attack or something. The walk over a hill where the feeling is more intense.

Then they see it.

(Not an actual photo of the Object)

A metallic saucer shaped object rose over the hill. Dad says it had two rows of windows that they could almost see through, and in one of the windows, they saw a figure but the couldn't make out any detail. My uncle in fear raised his rifle toward the object and the sound changed from an uncomfortable inaudible buzz to a painful screeching sound. Dad also out of fear took the gun from my uncle and threw it on the ground. Then the object just literally disappeared. I asked my father in depth questions about this. He told me, It wasn't like it moved from place to place, It was literally like it was there and then gone. Like it vanished right in front of them.

Some of you may remember I have told this story a few times on AH. But I had never told it here. And now I have.

This story is one of many here in Kentucky. The 50's and 60's are literally littered with stories just like this one.

Among Ufology folks, yes that is a pretty well known case. I love the explanation offered by some psychologists: the witnesses were drunk, and shooting at Great Horned Owls. I can believe the first part, but the second, no. They are basically saying that a flock of glowing owls attacked them for two hours and then retreated unscathed. Geez, couldn't they at least say it was swamp gas or some bad 'shine?

I have lived among the Kentucky wildlife for 20+ years now and never have i seen more than one owl for every 5 miles of land. They do not group up. So, to say 11-14 owls was on his front porch is to say the improbable happened.

I have always been suspicious of the Kelly -Hopkinsville encounter......while an interesting one..almost paranormal at times....it seems like a tale made up by the family. There was never anyway to confirm any aspects of it. The family claimed there were bullet holes due to them firing at the creatures but there could have been any number of reasons for holes in their house and property including drunk family members.
The 'aliens' described were also unlike any others recorded before in encounter cases...more like small elves or demons than the so-called greys. I don't know if there were any other legitimate reports of ufos seen in the area over that time frame but the way the 'aliens' floated and then got back up after being shot sounds a bit too much for my mind.
And just the fact that aliens would try to get into their house and did it that way doesn't seem like something advanced space travelers would do imho. It seems ludicrous on several levels. This is one of those cases that support the idea of high strangeness that Dr Vallee and others have often remarked about. Why would space traveling aliens who we presume are very intelligent do such a thing? Sounds more like 'theater of the absurd'.

I was thinking it sounded like the Salem Witch Hysteria.....but it also seemed like a tale of fiction concocted by the family too. Maybe they were trying to divert attention from an area where there was an illegal still.

That wouldn't surprise me at all in Kentucky.

Me either....and this event was a diversion for it to be moved somewhere else.....

The number One Trough Five Rules of doing Illegal things is 1. Do not get the police called on you. 2.Do not call the police. 3. Try to not have the police called. 4. Do it away from your main house. 5. Do not partake of the Illegal stuff.
For them to have a still and move then never come back..... COME ON! Houses are way more Expensive than Still's.

Jeebus guys!....

Very good advice....good way to do it. I didn't know the families moved out of the house.

Actually I already knew it.....it hasn't changed the idea it was a diversion in my mind.

I wouldn't think it was a flock of owls either....it just doesn't appear it was anything unearthly about it. I also find it quite likely alcohol was involved and some of it was the illegal type.

Off topic but...it's legal to brew beer and wine now in small amounts for personal use .....isn't it also legal to make small amounts of shine...? My father in law, before he passed away, made shine in his garage (rural Indiana) with my brother in law...pretty good stuff too. :)
