Maybe the weather change has something to do with it. It's chilly and I leave windows open in the bedroom and it feels wonderful to bury myself in a pile of blankets. My cat figured this out some time ago which is why he inhabits the laundry basket.
Thing is, I've had the most vivid lucid dreams I think I have ever had and the ability to remember quite a lot of them. Feels like I am totally wide awake and I think I am but realize something isn't quite right, very confusing. The dreams themselves turn completely absurd and even that doesn't convince me I'm still asleep. Was just going through this a short time ago before I woke up.
Two nights ago laying on my stomach I felt heavy pressure on my lower back and was pinned down. Dreaming of an enormous cat sitting there. I've actually had enormous cats and this wasn't one of them. This must be the Old Hag syndrome, whatever it's called. Startling. Thought I'd felt it before but not like this. This wasn't negative at all but it was just the damndest thing. Sleep paralysis is normal (I think) so we don't get up and hurt ourselves. I can easily see where a different experience could be interpreted as some negative paranormal entity. Thankfully it was just a big fat cat.
