Sounds like the search for El Dorado. For hundreds of years, treasure hunters and historians alike have searched for El Dorado, the lost city of gold. The idea of a city filled with gold and other riches has a natural appeal, drawing the attention of individuals from all over the world in hopes of discovering the ultimate treasure, and an ancient wonder. In spite of numerous expeditions around all of Latin America, the city of gold remains a legend, with no physical evidence to substantiate its existence. This guy says he put the treasure chest there so maybe with this one there is actually something to find albeit it at a cost .

I asked that question as you have made it quite plain over the years that you do not like those type of people and I wondered why you were watching that show you mentioned. Sort of like an anti gun person going to a gun show.

I'm glad its quite clear.......how do you think I don't like them? Otherwise its like you saying you don't like John Slocumb.
Besides I prefer the shows profiling them......some of which make it quite clear he died in 1945. Parts of the show don't even have their research straight.
It actually shows people do not do any historical research....especially here and at AU. If they did they'd realize that they are talking like them or are nazi-wannabes.
