Hi guys, a short while ago when I was in my teens I had a great interest [that boarded on a macabre fascination] in reading up on the very worst of humanity's output. 'a.k.a murderers' , and in particular the very worst examples of this most horrid trait of the warped human condition for which we have terms such as 'serial killer, psychopath, sociopath etc. ... And what I learned from all of that reading was that a human being is actually capable of doing anything, from brilliant acts of love and altruism to what can only be described as pure evil!
I also learned that one must take all the notions and insistences of the so-called experts in the field of extreme criminology with a pinch of salt. ... Because where in many cases there might indeed be enough similarities as to enable these experts to proclaim that there are indicating-patterns that point to future behaviour ... but I have found that as often as not any given perpetrator does not, and never did conform to the expectations attributed to the kind of monster that had just been discovered living a seemingly 'normal life'.
Also, despite some countries attempt to appear above such relatively-common atrocities [ie cold war era Russia] the actual demographics of these 'demons' is fairly ubiquitous ... in other words nowhere is safe, 'the monsters are everywhere.
And with this in mind, I thought that i'd start a thread to discuss some of the more gruesome practitioners of this evil, and ponder the prospect of there being a possibility of some kind of ranking system to all of this depravity. for instance... is Mark Chapman as evil as Ted Bundy?
I'll kick off the thread with what for me is one of the scariest characters of all time [never mind the 20th century] ....

Is this the 20th century's most evil man? ... Well he must at least be a candidate mustn't he? ... But is he the worst?
For anyone that is not already familiar with this malevolent sociopath , here is a quick summary of the kind of real life nightmare that this 'Boogey Man' was. ... Albert Fish - Crime Museum ... and here's one of my man Oddie's excellent YouTube documentaries that will leave you glad that this peace of shit got fried long before you were born ...
Cheers.
