United Nations Court 'Orders' Trump Administration To Lift Iran Sanctions

The International Court of Justice at the United Nations has issued an "order" Tuesday demanding that the United States lift sanctions against Iran re-imposed after the Trump administration decided to pull out of a nuclear proliferation treaty inked with Iran during the Obama years.

Iran apparently requested that the ICJ force the United States to rescind measures banning the sale and transport of certain "humanitarian goods" to the region, including medical supplies, emergency food, and mechanical and airplane parts.

"The court finds unanimously that ... the United States of America ... shall remove by means of its choosing any impediments arising from the measures announced on 8 May to the free exportation to Iran of medicines and medical devices, food and agricultural commodities" chief judge Abdulqawi Ahmed Yusuf said, according to the Times of India.

Yusuf added that if the United States does not lift the ban on airplane parts, there is a "potential to endanger civil aviation safety in Iran and the lives of its users."

Why else would Iran need mechanical items?

The ICJ based its ruling on a 1955 agreement between Iran and the United States to provide certain necessary items as part of an international aid deal. Neither country recognizes the Eisenhower-era treaty; the two countries dropped diplomatic ties in the Carter administration, when Iran took a number of American diplomats hostage.

The Trump administration re-imposed sanctions on Iran after pulling out of the Iranian nuclear deal in May, citing evidence that Iran continued to pursue its nuclear ambitions while the two countries were bound by the treaty. The Trump administration is set to level a second set of sanctions against Iran in November unless Iran can prove that it has abandoned its nuclear plans.

The ICJ doesn't have a mechanism in place to enforce its decisions on member nations who don't subscribe to their charter. President Donald Trump reiterated that the U.S. does not recognize the ICJ's authority in his speech to the United Nations General Assembly in August.

EXCLUSIVE - Owner of limousine company involved in horror crash is a former FBI informant who was paid $96,000 to go undercover to expose terror plots after fleeing to the US from Pakistan where he'd been accused of murder

    Screenshot_20181008-152438.jpg

Shahed Hussain, 62, is named as the owner of Prestige Limousines, aka Hasy Limos, aka Saratoga Luxury Limousine, in Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration documents.

In the last two years, the company has had at least four cars pulled out of service because they failed safety inspections.

The most recent was the 2001 Ford Excursion limousine which was carrying 17 passengers when driver Scott Lisinicchia crashed on Saturday, killing himself, all those on board and two pedestrians in the parking lot he came screeching into after running a stop sign in Schoharie, New York.

Hussain, who also goes by 'Malik', worked as an informant for the FBI after being caught running a DMV scam where he helped test takers cheat.

In 2007, he started going undercover in mosques in Newburgh, New York, to record conversations with alleged terrorists.

    Testing the waters?

UN Ambassador Nikki Haley resigns - CNNPolitics

I'm quite glad about this even though I'm "moderately" conservative, I despise Trump but tolerate him because of Nikki. He doesn't deserve her and by the way Donnie what happened to that huge infrastructure rebuilding plan? I hope we're not waiting for a second term because I'm not all that sure that's going to happen. Whatever your plans, Nikki best wishes and good luck !?

Maybe a little too excited.... Ok

"...Haley also announced that she does not intend to run for president in 2020, which has been speculated."

I actually could have watched these videos over & over. Just how stupid are people? People that think their flesh & bone is going to hold up to a SUV. Then these d-bags act shocked once the car/truck plows through them and they get injured. Unbelievable.

I'd have more respect for leftist snowflakes if they just said the REAL reason for the Kavanaugh uproar is because they hate Trump. Trump could announce that he's giving every family in America a free Ford SUV with free gas for a year and people would bitch, complain, mock him, etc. "Figures he'd give a Ford instead of a Chevy." or "Typical of Trump - too give away a gas guzzling SUV instead of an electric Hybrid." etc. etc.

I hope they all strap their helmets on because it's this kind of vicious, petty, cry baby attitude that will get him reelected.

Rape charges against 4 California dentists dismissed after video contradicts woman's story

An unnamed woman alleged that the four men raped her repeatedly in a room at the Wynn early July 28 after she met one of the men at a Wynn bar.

"After a review of the facts of the case, it was clear that the allegations were completely fabricated," lawyer Robert Draskovich, who represented Badkoobehi, said in a prepared statement. "The (video) evidence confirmed the men's innocence, and the state has cleared them of all charges."

As this case shows, it is also important to keep a critical eye on those willing to use the (#MeToo) movement for their own selfish motives and remember that innocent until proven guilty is one of our country's bedrock principles.

These are local to me. As I remember the Newburgh 'terrorists' were a bunch of wanna be dummies and this guy posed as a weapons dealer.

One of his two sons was just arrested and charged with - I think - vehicular manslaughter in this incident. New York mandates a pretty thorough annual safety inspection and the stretch Navigator failed it badly. The guy driving it didn't have a chauffeur's license but the owner's son sent this guy and this vehicle out anyway. The group was cruising wineries and their original limo broke down so this company answered the call. Wrong guy driving the wrong vehicle and then in a perfect storm happened upon the wrong road and built up too much speed. Horrifying, all those young people plus two innocent bystanders wiped out in a blink because of that asshole's greed. And I think the max time for the charge was about 4 years. Hope he spends it at the bottom of the deepest darkest hole they can throw him in.

Unfortunately parts of #MeToo are devolving into #YouToo.
I see that one of the rape charges against slimy Weinstein were dismissed because of an extensive email trail by one of the 'victims' proving her statements were false. Not saying anything about the rest, let them have their day in court.

This is the side that Gene Crimeberg sides with. And this is why from last election moving forward I will never vote left again. These people are a disgrace to the U.S. and should all be beaten & waterboarded....and then deported to a country of their choosing.
