> Strange coincidences in similar ways always crop up, its really not proof of anything either way...

I never said it was proof of anything, I merely observe the fact that several B movies of the fifties have scenes that are remarkably similar to what abductees describe.

Note the aliens with big eyes, the operating table and the alien with large cranium in the background. What this does prove is that such concepts were in the minds of many before claims of alien abductions actually were made.

I thought the wires being pulled out made sense within the context of the Skinwalker story. The ghouls being reported there tended to be shape shifting monsters, rather than the UFO occupants who shutdown missile sites through high tech means. Yes, I agree that we can't rule out human trickery. Maybe some folks who worked there, and knew which wires to pull and how not to be seen on camera, decided to have some fun.

Skinwalker. Draining batteries etc. is one thing but at one point it physically destroyed the wiring for a camera way up high on a pole in a fraction of a second. The cameras were mutually supporting - they could see each other - and yet the video showed absolutely nothing.

I wondered about things like this and in a small way actually did something about it. Sometimes you just have to go take a look for yourself.

There was a coworker that I had this conversation with. She felt that some external presence would sneak in at night and do .... what exactly ? I was never sure, it always came down to poltergeist like stuff. This was about the time I bought my Wyze camera and I offered to set one up for her but she's a flip phone no wi-fi type and not equipped for it on too many levels. I'm not sure she'd do it anyway even if she was. On a practical level I don't want cameras and microphones inside my home, period.

Personally, I think a lot of the phenomenon is self generated and the imagery drawn from pop culture. But it doesn't mean something physical may not be happening in some cases. I thought that me having a very personal item disappear for three days and then reappear right out in the open was a reaction to my emotional state, which can run to extremes.

A product of the time.. Those aliens look like caricatures of the band Public Enemy!
