QFT excitations are vibrations, So, String theory?

The predictions of Quantum field theory stand up to experimentation time and time again.

https://scholar.google.com/scholar?...periments&hl=en&as_sdt=0&as_vis=1&oi=scholart QFT describes a universe filled with different quantum systems in which particles are excitations, Quantized Vibrations, in fact, These Quantized vibrations may be essential to photosynthesis Quantized vibrations are essential to photosynthesis, say physicists – Physics World

Quantum Electrodynamics speaks about the electromagnetic field, whos excitations give us photons. The Electromagnetic field interacts with charged particles to give us the electromagnetic force which basically binds atoms together. My thing is, I don't see much different between QED and String Theory. Perhaps, I'm missing something, I probably am, Can someone help clear this up?

Sigh, Sundays are such slow days, All the coffee didn't help though, I suppose.

I tend to think that forcing the variable of time to be fixed causes all kinds of pointless complexities in the math of either thing you are looking at.
I hope someone else can answer your question, I am tired and am just not up for the messy ideas tonight

I find that interesting, I don't think Time Is a fixed thing, It's relative, So, I'm going to ponder on this a little. The nature of relativity, Probably as I'm laying down to sleep myself. I am exhausted lol

here are some ideas for you

when thinking about relativity, start asking how it may or may not apply to a rotating frame, or a series of rotating frames

the best modling of matter I have ever read is by carl frederick krafft
not to say that it is the entire picture, but it does get matter quite well
