Space Sculpture to Launch in 2018

This is extremely odd in the fact that this orbital reflector has no commercial, military or scientific purpose. Once in space the Diamond Star will unfold from a cube satellite and will reach 100 feet in length. It will be visible from the surface of the planet.
100 foot long 'diamond star' to light up night sky | Daily Mail Online
  • 'Space sculpture' will unfurl and inflate in space from a small CubeSat box
  • Is made from a mylar-like reflective material and shaped like a diamond
  • Sunlight reflects onto the sculpture making it visible from Earth with naked eye
  • Will appear as a slowly moving artificial star as bright as a star in the Big Dipper

The orbital reflector will launch from California's Vandenberg Air Force Base in mid-November. The so-called space sculpture will only be in orbit for a few weeks at an altitude of 350 miles before burning up in the atmosphere. There's energies associated with geometric shapes. What this reminds me of are obelisks around the world that the ancient Egyptians used to manipulate/control consciousness.
