Strange Angel, Parsons mini series?

Stare..... They are always staring
I don't know where the heck this should go so I'll try here....

It recently caught my attention that there is a summer (miniseries?) based upon arguably my favorite person of all time, Jack Parsons. It's called Strange Angel and it's "based" on George Pendle's exemplary piece of work of the same name. As an aside, several years ago I tried to see if I could get George to appear on an episode of The Paracast to mark the 100 th birthday of John Whiteside "Jack" Parsons, but 'twas not to be.

I'd just like to know if any of the fellow members have seen it and what their opinions of it were. I lived in L.A. up to last year and would make trips to the Arroyo and JPL <JACK PARSONS!!!> annual open house and just kinda daydream about him being there 50+ years ago. If you go across the wash to the other side from JPL there is a park, it opens up a bit and if you squint just right you could almost see Malina, Forman, Parsons, et al scaring the bejesus out of the gentrified blue bloods of South Pasadena through the fence.

The thing that can (does) bother me about these limited series is if it is a hit they will of course milk it out as long as they can with fluff and nonsense and drag what would be a nice movie a long slug and I'd might have to wait a whole year to see the continuation.

So is it worth a look see guys?
