Stranger Things & Erased

My roommate just got a free trial subscription to Netflix. Needless to say, we've both been wasting a lot of time binge-watching.

I finally saw Stranger Things. It's a sci fi series set in the early 1980's done in a Stephen King style. I loved the first 6 eps but, after that, it seemed to drag on a little too long IMHO.

I just started watching Erased, a Japanese series based on an anime story. It's not as far-fetched or as graphic as most anime stories. It's about a man who, for unknown reasons, periodically gets sent back in time a few minutes when something significant is about to happen. Eventually he gets sent back in time 18 years and must relive his days in 5th grade in order to prevent a series of child kidnappings and murders. It has a warmer, softer feel, almost like Quantum Leap.

I highly recommend both shows.

I watched all of Stranger Things Season 1 and 2.
I liked all of it.

Vikings, all episodes of all seasons was totally addictive.

Shanara Chronicles... pretty good too. A couple of Interesting twists I did not expect.

OA. Weird, and Awesome at the same time. Highly recommend it.

I was a huge fan of the first season of Stranger Things, and an even bigger fan of the second season... except for one certain episode in season two that just felt like a filler. Erased I haven't seen anything of, but will look for it the next time I'm on Netflix

Got a bit of a wait until season 3 Stranger Things comes out, 2019 they say. 11 will be so much older by then.

I would much rather wait the extra time and have them pump out something great again than rush it. I really like how they treat each season as kind of a "movie" sequel, rather than a direct continuation of the last season. Everyone will have grown quite a bit by the time it comes out, so I'm sure there's going to be a lengthy time jump thrown in.

Yes thats how it should be . They did say they could have finished season 2 as a movie and that could have been it but they are doing the 3rd one heard hints of a 4th season but we will have to wait and see,
