So it's after Christmas, for me that means people called wanting their various laptops and notebooks fixed.
I've worked on about nine of the 17 devices that need fixing.
There is something called an Acer S1002, What a Neat little .., Tablet? Laptop? Hybrid?
This little thing is mostly fully functional Windows 10 tablet with detachable keyboard. What's so great about it is, it doesn't cut any corners, This is a fully functional windows 10 pc. I was able to use the USB legacy boot option to boot the windows setup installer. It's freaking amazing, And let me tell you how good it feels having a tablet with a fully functioning version of Windows 10 on it instead of Android. Yeah,
It's too bad I was able to fix it, The guy was going to give it to me as junk if I couldn't. That's my luck I guess.
Still, I have my ethics, Being able to deliver him the fixed pc is better for my name than claiming I couldn't fix it... Sigh.. it's so pretty and awesome. I'm gonna buy one today, Besides, I want a new one, This one the guy brought me Has cracks because he sit on it. Yeah, I fix hardware problems too, It's why I'm the best. "luckily" I was able to fix it, but have you ever had to solder with a literal needle tip and magnifying glass, If it wasn't for weed, I wouldn't have had the patience for that shit.
Still, In my eyes, These little guys are the best and most fully featured windows tablets I've ever seen, "Which admittedly isn't many" Still though. I'm going to Bowlinggreen and picking one up later today.
