I took it because I was afraid to catch Corona again
Its a shame that people believed that the vaccine could stop people catching Covid.
In some fields its actually could look like the vaccine could make it easier for Covid to be caught, but that's another story.
But then again, I had 1 vaccine dose (Astrozenica) basically for the same reasons, i was scared because at times my breathing is not great but this was against my wife's views. She had done her research about Myocarditis and Pericarditis side effects and because of heart issues in my family warned me against it. She's an NHS Nurse with 2 Degrees in Nursing.
My heart rate went up to over 140 for 2 days.
I decided after that I'd sooner risk Covid than give myself a heart attack, and have not had any more Covid vaccinations.
My wife decided she did not want to be vaccinated. She has worked front line Covid Nursing, ITU, and Covid wards since the pandemic began, mostly 50-60 hour weeks, tested 2-3 times a week and never had it.
In fact non of our family has.
It came to the point where our GOV decided that front line NHS workers where going to be forced against their wishes to be vaccinated, in the end public outcry and staff shortage, (over 100,000 medical staff would have been forced to leave their jobs, which would have put an already stretched NHS over the edge and endangered the public for more that Covid would have itself) made the Health Secretary back track and cancel mandatory vaccinations in the NHS.
He had already enforced Mandatory vaccination in Care homes, which has led to severe staff shortages, which is part to blame for the NHS being so busy, knock on effect, hospitals are full, there no where to send the well patients, also Care homes are locked down with Covid outbreaks , even though the Staff are 100% vaccinated as are the residents that live there.
When our GOV has a medicine alert system that is full of side effect data -
Coronavirus vaccine - weekly summary of Yellow Card reporting - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
And also a system in place to claim for vaccination damage -
Vaccine Damage Payment: Eligibility - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
- you do have to think what is happening.
I'm not anti-vaccine, I'm pro choice. Its a persons choice. These vaccinations do not stop you getting Covid. These vaccinations do not stop you giving it to some one. They may help YOU from being hospitalised. And its YOUR choice to have them, so long as people have an informed choice, and know that there COULD be severe side effects, even death. But they don't tend to mention that very much.
