I am familiar with the concept of Tulpas, Golems, thought-forms etc. I even believe that thought-form probably do exist. But I can't wrap my mind around this. WTH is this? This isn't even in the same league as imaginary friends or occult practices. Home • Tulpa.info

I know...I was just shaking my head like 'what the hell' and I am usually more open minded but I just can't figure this one out. I mean WHY?

Its a new one on my too.....I'm not sure how seriously I can take this.

Sounds like they are describing multiple personalities.....but then maybe that's who I'm talking to when I talk to myself. I think I spent to much time alone in the field in the past.

It appears that they are intentionally creating multiple personalities and then having a relationship with those personalities including the personalities having relationships themselves with the other created personalities. And apparently it originated in the My Little Pony fandom. I want to ask them 'why would you do this?' There are many strange and sometimes depraved fetishes that take root in disturbed individuals but this seems different.

I know. Very perplexing. I'm just trying to understand why healthy young people would willing choose this. I can understand some people partaking in strange fetishes due to some mental instability...like furries for instance...but this is a 'thing' among seemingly healthy young adults.

As an aside, my teen pointed out something interesting about furries. She noted the overabundance of animated films and cartoons that humanize animals.

I don't even want to know about all the types of disturbed individuals or groups there are out there. The ones I know about are frightening enough.....and they are real.

As far as I know its something I coined in a paper I wrote in 2003 on self development...It can reference almost any social interactions from business meetings and business structures to social groups like discussion forums, or applied in a spiritual atmosphere of self development and inner lives...There is the usage things in themselves but my adaptation is mainly regarding inner growth...

I know more than I care to know, have seen things that can't be forgotten and have had to deal with people too horrible to imagine.

A real turning point for me came one night when I rushed into a cell and saved an incestuous pedophile as he was hanging himself. He fought us. Sobbing and screaming at us "do you know what I've done? Do you?" Then proceeded to tell us and I will spare you that. When the fight went of him, he just looked at me and said "tell me I deserve to live." And I couldn't. I just shook my head and walked out of the cell. The thought...had I been just a moment too late in responding...a few minutes of ignoring the sound from behind the cell door...and he would have been dead. I wanted him dead for what he had done and for what he was. I couldn't tell him he deserved to live and my silence confirmed as justified all the horror and loathing he felt toward himself. I wondered if letting him die would have been an act of mercy. I wondered if saving him had been humane on my part or if it was really an act of vengeance condemning him to live with the horror of what he was. I couldn't understand my own motivations. I just know his very existence seemed wrong to me.

These Tulpas seem wrong to me and I don't understand why.

This is very wrong to me as well, it's a deep mental conditioning in my opinion, splitting and dividing an individual in a disturbing way because of the permenance and acceptance this conditioning requires...

I agree and I feel uneasy with the idea that they are creating 'sentient beings'...or so they believe...just to be used. It doesn't matter whether they are real or not...they are operating under the belief that they are. That feels morally wrong.

Hasn't anyone read the book Magic and Mystery in Tibet by Alexandra David-Neel?
That is where this is mostly from...but they are incorrect, if my memory serves me right.
A Tulpa or Tulku as some Tibetans call it are physical things and not in your head. They start there but upon the successful completion of ritual and meditation, become real physical entities or real objects.
Alexandra claims to have witnesses it and supposedly certain Tibetan mystics can do them.
Think of it as an extreme form of psychic abilities far exceeding Telekinesis.

Yes that is a Tulpa and they are called other things elsewhere. A poltergeist is a type of thought-form. So too are Tulpas and Golems. Thought-forms are not intended to live in one's head. I am unsure if they believe their Tulpas exists in their 4d world or if the Tulpas only resides inside their minds.

I think one part of my uneasiness is that the creation of tulpas or thought-forms has always been by mystics. Lone practitioners of a closely guarded occult art. It is sacred. But here you have a whole community of people...college freshmen wearing Brony tshirts (nothing wrong with being a Brony, I guess) doing something without the guidance and skill that practitioners of the art would have taken years to master. Its profane and a mockery of a sacred practice that should be taken seriously. Like the westernization of tantra. Its wanting the orgasm without the hard work or the body without the soul.

Or maybe I am being too judgmental and should just mind my own damn business and let people be weird if they want. God knows I'm weird in my own ways so there's that. lol

I wouldn't be concerned, they would have a much better chance at winning the lottery than being successful at creating a physical Tulpa, because none of them would want to go through what it would take to achieve such.

Not sure what this tulpa stuff is about... haven't read it all as yet but it does remind me a little of the Canadian 1972 Phillip Experiment.... In the late 1990s I belonged to a local Paranormal group and for a number of months a number of us would meet privately away from the group every week to try to create an entity based on the Phillip Experiment...

I have long forgotten how successful we were or weren't, but I do remember at home sometimes the other people living at my place used to say things like... 'get your ghost creation out of here', 'tell your ghost to leave' or 'you and your ghost'...

"The Philip Experiment was an actual historic research project conducted by a Toronto organization in 1972 in an effort to prove that paranormal entities such as demons, spirits, ghost, and poltergeists were manifestations produced by human will through expectation, imagination, and visualization. A prominent group of citizens, three men and five women with no interest in the occult, participated in the study, the results of which not only shocked the group but stunned the world. The how and why of The Philip Experiment has never been answered leaving many to wonder – did the group accidentally summon a demonic or spiritual entity or did they create a real ghost?"

In the old TV program Kung Fu Blood of The Dragon episode Kane fights with a Chinese mystic that produces Tulpas to attack him. An entertaining idea of it.
Starts at the 37 minute mark.
