Excellent, ads are bad news, especially if the idea is to build something, and I agree that the outlay of the forum is intuitive.

I think we should let Yithian at Forteantimes know where the refugees can be found. I'll be maintaining an outpost in the British Isles home territory there, though I've now reached the limit of the number of forums I can meaningfully participate in.

I have a strong distaste in ads, they can be very intrusive and distracting, I don't want our guest to get turned off my unwanted ads nor any members...

I'm going on the prowl now, but I will see about dragging some others this way. I belong to another private forum which probably only has about 5 active members now. It's kaput this year I'm sure. Too bad but it's been a slow process and I can't get these other people to grasp the idea that we need to open the doors and collect some new people. It won't be any Alien Hub like disaster, more like a rowboat with a fatal leak, but every bit helps.

Used to be Dingo on AU or Alien Hub as it became later known but I perfer not to use that Dingo name anymore...

Mostly because as Mod on there since the Day Dot of that forum I'm happy not to have a constant reminder of all that... so I figure it's time for me to throw off my shackles and move on into another me...

I think I will enjoy this forum the most. It's not as bloated as AU and other forums. As beloved as AU (or AH) was, I found it to be suffocating in its later years. I feel more at ease here.

Hello Merle - Thanks for telling me about this dimension - I was feeling lost on Fortean times - Seems like a small click of posters keep giving each other likes and pay no attention to someone new. Likes are like a payout in s psychological sense
- gives the feeling your not just talking to yourself.

I sent her one but the email address is quite old. I do know that Kelly left AU and all forums as she had a stalker and it caused some problems.So, last I heard from her, she forswore them and was getting on with living.

I also sent Nathalie one.
