Windows 12

Seems that is slated to be released June of this year.
I have 5 computers, but usually just use 2 at a time.
An all in one Dell with windows 10, a desktop tower with windows 10, an tower with the side I leave off so I can switch out 8 different drives for occasional updates. But if Windows 12 gets released, I may consider buying a new computer(not a laptop, I do not like them).
Microsoft’s Windows 12 will launch in June of 2024, according to Taiwan media quoting the chairmen of Acer and contract manufacturer Quanta.

My main desktop system is still running Win7 and it does everything I need it to do. My music workstation however, had to be Windows 10 or the software wouldn't load.

The only Windows versions I'm actively using are Windows 7 and 11...Inactively I use Windows XP and Windows 10, they are on virtual machines for old and newer programming software which will not run on other versions of Windows...Out of all of those I like Windows 7 the most...I also have computers running a few versions of Linux...

Its just blackmail forge.

All that my Win. 11 wants off me is to register every action I do on my personal and private computer.

Run 2 PC's. The main gaming one was purchased last year, i7 12700F Win 11, the older streaming PC is i7 8700 Win 10 because to the mainboard does not support TPM. It would be Win 11 if it was available, but its job is to stream games, so it does not matter. I'm wondering if Win 12 will have any strange security requirements....

It's been forever since I installed win7, I thought they stopped updating win7? Hmm. That may be win95 they phased out. I know one of those is fundamentally useless online.

In the recent past I've worked on automation machinery that still runs Windows XP and in some cases Windows NT, believe it or not...The companies who owned those machines did not want to spend the money to upgrade them, just run them to they die attitude...

Windows 7 is not supported by Microsoft any longer however that OS still works fine for most common functions needed, I still use Windows 7 on my older programming laptop...

You know, now that I give it some thought, it makes perfect sense that in some cases people would want to run these older , less connected versions, especially for massive private networks..
