Your just for fun UFO indulgence?

Most of my Ufology activities are done in a serious manner, with the aim of gaining knowledge about the topic. However, sometimes it is fun to take in the more far out stuff just for entertainment. I've been listening to alot of Linda Moulton Howe's Earthfiles lately, particularly the shows about alien bases and ancient high technology under the ice in Antarctica. The sources are usually the same, unnamed military personnel with little to no corroboration. The way she just eats it all up with complete credulity is just priceless.

YouTube channel UFOTV also has some really well done shows on the less mainstream stories of Ufology. I really enjoyed their show on the Aldebaran mystery, which does have some little known but factual information on the impact of mystery cults in Nazi Germany. So, what is your guilty pleasure in Ufology?

I have a certain fondness for books by or about early contactees. The period when the Space Brothers and Sisters just wanted world peace. So I have books by Allingham, Buck Nelson, Lee Crandall, Bethurum and others. The most indulgent was Those Sexy Saucer People.

Having just returned from Rapa Nui I am looking for these publications (without success):

Old Heinlein novel Have Spacesuit Will Travel. An old friend I pick up once in a while - a true abduction there for sure.
Project Blue Book was my most recent UFO mental bubble gum.

Dude, I LOVE Project Blue Book. It’s obviously takes real Blue Book cases, but uses a large amount of artistic license to tell the stories so you can’t really use them as accurate UFO cases.

That being said it’s the ONLY T.V. Show I set reminders for to watch every week, it has an air of the good X Files episodes.

By the way, I didn’t know Richard Dolan could act. HA!
