22 Retailers Closing Stores

For the past 10-15 years, I've been wearing a particular style and brand of shoe only available from Payless. For that reason I was perturbed when they announced their bankruptcy. A couple of months ago I learned that they had started to operate online. But oddly, the new Payless site redirects to Amazon. Fortunately, at Amazon I found the shoes in question at the original price, and ordered several pairs. I'm not sure whether Amazon bought up Payless' inventory, or what the deal is. Anyway, I made out okay.
I just checked. The particular shoes I managed to buy back in March of this year are no longer available. Also, the entire Payless inventory at Amazon appears to be dwindling.

Around here the store has to have a street door to be open - Dick's, Best Buy, Macy's are open. The shops inside the mall are shuttered. JC Penny just went out forever and so did the local Sears.

Once the election is over and they have ousted Trumpy baby then all this will resolve.....Notice I said they..I am not voting for neither one of the dumbasses.
