Did Randle read the book before his show?Kevin Randle has a good rundown of the San Antonio crash story. He's probably the most conservative researcher who would be called a bleever by the smug, reactionary psuedo-skeptics, and he has a ton of experience with military regulations and protocol, so his contribution to these topics is, in my opinion, invaluable. He's not impressed with this one. Maybe the story is essentially true, with some distortions and embellishments polluting it over the years, I don't know. Some hard evidence for it would be awesome. Implausible details don't help a bit. Military leaving an alien space ship unguarded overnight? Is Ray Stanford somehow involved?
A Different Perspective: The San Antonio UFO Crash
Did Randle read the book before his show?
Don't think so.
I haven't.Have you read the book?...What do you think of it if you have?...I've been considering whether to purchase it or not...

I bought the book and have started reading it. I haven't gotten very far because, life, but I enjoyed the beginning where he goes through the history of the area and the testing of the bombs and which scientists were in that area for that. It is a lot more expensive than I would have paid for a paperback if I didn't have an Amazon gift card.Have you read the book?...What do you think of it if you have?...I've been considering whether to purchase it or not...

Yes, I have the epub. One thing is for sure, Paola Harris is a lousy interviewer. But the testimony of the two witnesses is quite stunning.Have you read the book?...What do you think of it if you have?...I've been considering whether to purchase it or not...

Supposedly it did not come out because of the closeness to the nuclear testing sites and the government scaring the beejezus out of everyone. The two people who were interviewed were children back then and one wrote a book before he died that got Paolla Harris interested in the story. In the past I have bought everything Dr Vallee has published but I'll pass on this one. I'm simply not interested in another 'Roswell' tale.
What is a bit surprising is that this story never came out over the years especially since the Roswell story became so well known and iconic you'd think that the boys involved or someone else involved would have told their story years ago.
I'm curious as to how Harris and Vallee 'happened' on the tale. Did some one approach them or what? And with out any corroborating physical evidence it becomes just another crashed alien saucer tale. Is this one anymore or less valid than Roswell, Corona, etc..?

A crashed vehicle. The kids were checking the fences and saw a flash and heard a crash. They went to the ridge where they could see a fire. They also saw small people running around in a panic. Weird people they thought and wondered if they were children because of their size. When they got home it was dark so the adults waited until morning to go check. The vehicle was avocado shaped and had skidded quite a ways before stopping. The sheriff went with the parents to check out what the kids told them and he contacted the military. The adults thought at first that it was a government test vehicle that had crashed. Later the military sent young men to collect stuff, get it on a truck and take it to Los Alamos. Military officers told everyone their lives would be in danger if they told anyone about anything. The crash was very close to the location of the atomic bomb testing. The men collecting the debris were not careful about getting everything and someone has a peice of metal similar to the metal that was mentioned in the Roswell crash. What was in the book the witness wrote...?
What I meant was what was the book the witness wrote....that Harris read? Is that available?A crashed vehicle. The kids were checking the fences and saw a flash and heard a crash. Oh, I did not read that one yet. I have not even looked it up.What I meant was what was the book the witness wrote....that Harris read? Is that available?
Claims made in online book reviews are about as lightweight as it gets, but some people are looking into that to see if any of it has some relationship to reality. But really, so what? From Amazon :
'My Dads B-29 Bomber Group , the 231st at Alamogordo AAF in New Mexico recovered this Spacecraft Aug 15-17 1945, in 2007 I was interviewed by Col Wendelle Stevens about this Crash and Wendelle surprised Me by telling Me He had been at 2 UFO Recoverys at Kingman AZ May 18 and May 22 1953, Bill Brophy'
Timothy Good reported about it some years ago. A link is somewhere in this thread. In the past I have bought everything Dr Vallee has published but I'll pass on this one. I'm simply not interested in another 'Roswell' tale.
