Yup. They let them go and they fled and the Governor belatedly said they should be deported. How helpful. Nailing the barn door shut after the horse has run away.

Why would anyone want to be a cop in one of the sanctuary cities? Apart from having NYPD on your resume what other possible benefit could you get from it? I heard the City Council wants each and every citizen interaction documented in writing and they even overrode that idiot mayor's veto to mandate it.

Fortunately I don't live in that ****hole and don't work there anymore. My concern is for my wife who travels there regularly and it has been getting progressively more dangerous in the last few years.

NYC launches $53M program to give pre-paid debit cards to migrants to spend in BODEGAS: Users must sign affidavit promising only to use card for food and baby supplies, with family of four set to get $1,000-a-month

Migrants living in the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan will be given pre-paid cards to spend on food and baby supplies, instead of the hotel providing meals. Eric Adams, the mayor of New York, estimated the scheme will save the city $600,000 a month, or $7.2 million annually. A family of four could be provided nearly $1,000 each month, which is $35 per day for food for the four. At present, each migrant meal costs $11, so feeding a family of four for a day could cost up to $132. If the program is a success, the city will expand it to all migrant families staying in hotels, which is roughly 15,000 currently, officials said on Friday.

Moment CNN host is stunned into silence after former NYPD cop tells her migrants commit more crimes in NYC than Florida because Sunshine State will jail them

CNN anchor Erica Hill was left stunned when the channel's veteran law enforcement analyst voiced some unexpected home truths about crime in New York.

The awkward moment came as the panel discussed Saturday's brutal assault on two police officers in Times Square, and the disappearance of the migrants arrested after they were freed without bond.

Just one of the six charged is still in jail despite multiple previous charges, and four are now thought to have fled on a bus to California with the help of a church-affiliated charity.

'Does the fact that they were police officers change anything?' pondered Hill as she probed ex-cop John Miller over the case and the suspect's backgrounds.

'What the detectives are telling me is that they have crews here that operate in New York, do all their stealing then go to Florida to spend the money then come back,' Miller, who is also the Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence & Counterterrorism of the NYPD, told her.

'And I'm like 'why don't they just stay and steal in Florida' and they said 'because there you go to jail'.'

'Oh!' replied the clearly surprised presenter as the panel lapsed into silence. 'Fascinating!' ventured co-host Phil Mattingly eventually.

The brutal attack was carried out at around 8.30pm when officers attempted to disperse a disorderly group in front of 220 West 42 Street.

Washington state diverted $340M in federal COVID funds to immigrants, including via $1,000 checks

A new report is highlighting how federal COVID funds were used in Washington state to give $1,000 checks to illegal immigrants who were ineligible to receive federal economic impact payments during the pandemic due to their immigration status.

The report, by the Economic Policy Innovation Center (EPIC), points to money administered by the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF), which was created by the American Rescue Plan Act and was intended to help state and local governments with their response and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Washington state received $4.4 billion in funding overall from that program.

The report from the group, which calls for a smaller federal government, highlighted how $340 million in funding went to a program that sent $1,000 checks to illegal immigrants in the state. The funds, approved by the Washington state legislature in April 2021, provided "another round of funding for undocumented Washingtonians," according to an impact report on the program said.

Biden's latest climate rules crack down on manufacturing, ignoring industry warnings of economic devastation

The Biden administration finalized regulations severely tightening restrictions on fine particulate matter that the manufacturing and energy sectors are legally allowed to emit, an action that industry said would have devastating economic consequences.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) unveiled the regulations Wednesday morning in a joint announcement with environmental activists, saying limiting particulate matter known as PM2.5 or soot would have health benefits for Americans nationwide. The rulemaking lowers the annual PM2.5 standard from a level of 12 micrograms per cubic meter to a level of 9 micrograms per cubic meter.

How many are working directly for the CCP?...

More than 150 Chinese nationals entered US illegally EVERY DAY since October, startling new CBP figures reveal

More than 150 Chinese nationals have snuck into the US illegally every single day since October, according to startling new CBP statistics.

Among the record numbers of migrants flooding the southern border, Chinese illegal immigrants made up the fastest-growing faction of border crossers last year.

The 2023 fiscal year reportedly saw over 37,000 Chinese migrants encountered at the border - with a staggering 20,000 more since October, when the 2024 fiscal year began.

The surge forms part of an uncontrollable wave of migrant crossings that has stretched border resources thin. U.S. Customs and Border Protection has tracked over 1 million migrant encounters since fiscal year 2024 began, a CBP source told Fox News, the earliest this mark has ever been reached.

The number is about 100,000 higher than the same period last year and is the earliest the U.S. has ever reached the one million encounter mark.

The alarming border crossing figures come as a bipartisan immigration bill intended to reform lax border policies suffered a humiliation failure in Congress.

Amid fears over the influx of Chinese nationals - who reportedly cross in San Diego a majority of the time - talk show host Dr Phil speculated they may be infiltrating the US on behalf of the CCP.

Chinese nationals now make up the fastest-growing faction of illegal border crossers into the US, with over 20,000 apprehended since October.

Denver mayor blames Republicans and Trump for $5M cuts to pay for migrant crisis

Denver is cutting $5 million from public services used by its residents in order to pay for its spiraling illegal immigration costs, with the city’s mayor pinning the blame on Republicans and former President Donald Trump.

Mayor Mike Johnston, a Democrat, announced on Friday that hours will be cut at recreation centers, and in-person vehicle registration renewals at the DMV will end, while the planting of spring flower beds will also be stopped to save the much-needed cash.

The cuts follow the mayor’s decision last month to divert $25 million from the city budget to the migrant crisis. That plan included pulling $10 million from a contingency fund and $15 million from a building remodel. Those actions followed the city’s decision to hold many positions vacant and review new or expanded contracts and programs.

Johnston says the crisis will cost the city around $180 million in 2024.
