America's migrant crime wave is past the point of no return: DAVID MARCUS reveals how liberal mayors and a Democrat president dismantled the border... and now wring their hands over the nightmare THEY'VE created

The results are in - the psychotic 'sanctuary cities' experiment has utterly failed. And there's no clearer proof than the Rotten Apple - where a once proud, party-boy mayor has been reduced to a sniveling spectator to his own city's decline. 'I can't deport. I can't stop people from coming in,' Eric Adams told Fox Nation on Wednesday, referring to suicidal sanctuary city laws that prevent New York State authorities from cooperating with federal law enforcement. Future generations, from all walks of life, will be dealing with the fallout from Biden's border fiasco and these suicidal 'sanctuary policies.' These mindless liberals have finally realized the error of their ways - but it's far too little, far too late.

Wyoming police completely destroy woman's home after cop killer barricaded himself in: Sheriffs spent 30 hours using excavator, pressure hose, Bearcat armored vehicle, water canons and gas grenades

Wyoming cops' astonishing 30-hour standoff to get police murderer out of house: Sheriffs

Officials say William Lowery, 46, shot dead Sheridan Police sergeant Nevada Krinkee on Tuesday morning as the cop served a trespassing notice on a rental house the alleged killer had been squatting in for five months. An armed Lowery then ran to the home Karo Hamilton, where he barricaded himself. During the standoff police brought in a track hoe excavator, a pressure hose and at least one Bearcat armored vehicle, as reported by Sheridan Media. The standoff lasted throughout Tuesday night, with police using water canons, gas grenades and projectiles throughout the day. On Wednesday morning, Chief Travis Koltiska called in an excavator, which he said was his 'last option.' That afternoon Lowery was shot dead as he tried to escape from the house, which was left looking like a tornado ripped through it. 'It will have to be bulldozed and rebuilt.

Good on Texas...

Texas starts construction on new 80-acre military base camp in Eagle Pass for 2,300 soldiers as Gov. Greg Abbott promises to 'amass a large army' to combat migrant invasion

Texas plans to construct a military base along the border with Mexico, the state's Republican governor announced on Friday, as his election-year tug-of-war with the White House over migration continues to broil.

A wave of illegal border crossings in recent months has made migration a key talking point in the US presidential election campaign once again, with Republicans seeking to pin blame for the record-high numbers entirely on Democratic President Joe Biden.

Governor Greg Abbott made the announcement of the new base in the flashpoint border town of Eagle Pass, where he has amassed national guard troops from Texas and other Republican-led states to erect razor wire and other barriers in a bid to block migrants from entering the country.

The town lies along the Rio Grande, the river that forms the border with Mexico.

The facility built on a site six miles south of Shelby Park and will be able to accommodate some 300 soldiers by April and will have the ability to expand to house up to 2,300 National Guard members, Abbott said.

'This will increase the ability for a larger number of Texas military department personnel in Eagle Pass to operate more effectively and more efficiently,' said the governor.

'Because of the magnitude of what we're doing, because of the need to sustain and actually expand our efforts ... it's essential that we build this base camp,' Abbott said.

The camp will allow Texas to 'amass a large army in a very strategic area' and 'increase the speed and flexibility of the Texas National Guard to be able to respond to crossings,' he explained.

Abbott said the camp will improve living conditions for soldiers who are deployed to the U.S.-Mexico border, an issue that troubled the Guard's mission during the early months of Operation Lone Star.

FBI and Homeland Security 'urgently investigating' whether AT&T outage was a CYBERATTACK - as security expert tells DailyMail.com it has all hallmarks of a hack

Federal agencies are 'urgently investigating' the cellular outage, but a security expert told DailyMail.com that the event appears to be an attack on core Internet infrastructure. Lee McKnight, associate professor at Syracuse University in New York, said the widespread nature appears to be 'a massive Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS)'. This type of attack attempts to crash a website or online service by bombarding it with a torrent of superfluous requests at exactly the same time. The surge of simple requests overload the servers, causing them to become overwhelmed and shut down.

Number of Chinese migrants crossing the border at San Diego now exceeds MEXICANS - and is second only to Colombians - with 21,000 entering there in the past five months

US Customs and Border Protection has recorded 21,000 encounters with Chinese nationals in the San Diego Sector since the fiscal year began in October, according to CBP data obtained by Fox News that is not yet public. That's more than the 18,700 encounters with Mexican nationals during the same period, and second only to the 28,000 Columbians CBP reported encountering in the sector. Migrants from Brazil (8,700) and Ecuador (7,700) were the next largest groups, and other countries of origin include Turkey, Guinea, India, Guatemala and Peru, underlining the increasingly global nature of migration at the US-Mexico border.

Tens of thousands of pharmacies across America unable to get prescriptions to patients after major cyberattack by 'foreign nation' - a day after cellphone services went down

A cyberattack on a unit of UnitedHealth has made pharmacies nationwide unable to get prescriptions to patients. The company said in a regulatory filing Thursday that its Change Healthcare unit, which processes prescriptions to pharmacies across the country, was compromised by a 'suspected nation-state associated cyber security threat actor.'

The hack began on Wednesday, preventing several pharmacies from processing prescriptions to insurance companies.

UnitedHealth said that 'tens of thousands' of pharmacies were impacted, though It's unclear exactly how many pharmacies or patients were affected. UnitedHealth is the country's largest health insurer, serving about 7.7 million customers.

The incident coincided with a nationwide cell outage at AT&T Thursday, which left more than 70,000 customers without cell service, though there is no evidence that the two events are related.

Several prescription providers announced that they were impacted by the hack.

US jets intercept high-altitude balloon over Utah

US jets intercept high-altitude balloon over Utah

US military aircraft have intercepted a high-altitude balloon flying over the western part of the country and determined it was non-threatening.

The small object is not manoeuvrable and presents no hazard to flight safety, US officials said, though its origin and purpose were unknown.

The aircraft was spotted on Friday over Colorado and Utah, drifting east.

Last year, the US shot down a Chinese balloon after it crossed the country from Alaska to the east coast.

Friday's object, detected floating around 44,000ft (13,400m), prompted US officials to scramble fighter jets to investigate.

Norad, the military command responsible for air defence over the US and Canada, said its fighter jets intercepted the balloon over Utah.

A statement from Norad said that it would continue to track and monitor the balloon.

The Federal Aviation Administration has determined the aircraft poses no hazard to flight safety, according to Norad.

The balloon was expected to be over Georgia by Friday night, an unnamed official told CBS News, the BBC's US media partner.

The source said the aircraft was made of a type of polyester film called Mylar, with a small cube-shaped box suspended beneath it.

Last February's balloon episode sparked a diplomatic crisis between Washington and Beijing.

The Chinese authorities had denied it was a spy aircraft, describing it as a weather ship blown astray.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken cancelled a trip to China, calling the airship's presence an "irresponsible act".

An F-22 jet fighter destroyed that balloon off the coast of South Carolina.

Jesus, if my hobby escaped and got intercepted by an F-22 my GeekCred would be established in perpetuity.

I guess they didn't shoot it down

POLITICS Hobbyist balloon detected over Western U.S. has left American airspace, officials say

CBS News first reported that the military was tracking the balloon as it traversed the Western U.S. on Friday. NORAD, the military command responsible for air defense over the U.S. and Canada, later confirmed it had detected the object and said it was floating between 43,000 and 45,000 feet. Its presence prompted enough concern that the command sent aircraft to investigate.

One U.S. official told CBS News the balloon was expected to be over Georgia by Friday night. The official said the balloon appeared to be made of Mylar and had a small cube-shaped box, about two feet long on each side, hanging below it.

"The balloon was intercepted by NORAD fighters over Utah, who determined it was not maneuverable and did not present a threat to national security. NORAD will continue to track and monitor the balloon," NORAD said in a statement. "The FAA also determined the balloon posed no hazard to flight safety."

On Saturday, an official with the Department of Defense told CBS News that the object was actually a hobbyist balloon.

Venezuelan migrant brags about living off taxpayers, urges followers to 'unite' behind Times Square shooter

Venezuelan migrant, Leonal Moreno, posted a video to his social media urging his over 300,000 followers to "unite" and pay the fines of a 15-year-old migrant who allegedly shot a tourist in Times Square earlier this month.

"I invite you to find [his] mother and [for] all of us to unite to pay the fines [so] that the young Venezuelan feels that he’s not alone during difficult moments. Remember that up there there’s a God who sees everything [down here]," the Venezuelan TikToker said. He continued,"An entire nation [is] on top of him instead of helping him - remember that the young man is going to be released. And he will be released, do you know why? Because he’s underage."

"You don’t know when God is going to put you in a situation like the one this young man is in," Moreno continued in the clip, referencing the attempted murder charges against teenager Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa, who’s being tried as an adult for his actions on February 8th. "Let’s unite forces so that this child can be free and has an opportunity," he captioned his 90-second TikTok video in Spanish, which has since garnered 2.5 million views.

The comments section of the video collected mixed sentiments, with one user calling Moreno a "clown", while another wrote, "He broke the law, and he should stay in jail or go back to his country." Moreno’s content focuses around his lifestyle and how he earns an income by begging strangers on the streets and living off of money distributed by the government.

In another video posted February 21st, Moreno expressed his intention behind migrating to the United States, stating, "You came to the United States to work, and I came to vacation, look at the difference. You and I didn’t come with the same purpose. You came to the United States to pay the taxes that you didn’t pay in Venezuela."

The New York Post reported that the Venezuelan TikToker lives in Columbus, Ohio with his partner and their daughter.

Manhattan Institute fellow and Venezuelan native, Daniel Di Martino, told The New York Post, "Americans should be outraged to see how someone can come… and abuse the laws and benefits of America. Sadly, he’s just one of many who are ripping off the taxpayer because of our own badly written laws that allow them to collect some welfare and take years to decide asylum cases that likely will be denied."

It's funny how the diagram lists fighter aircraft altitudes at 65,000 feet. According to an old National Geographic article, even the old F-15s and 16s had "out of the atmosphere capability" - presumably with an oxygen assist and thrust vectoring add-on. The now retired SR-71 also went higher than 75,000 feet. These days they probably have Buck Rogers type aircraft that we don't even know about.
