The shadow knows!
It is a day I have long prepared for but still comes with a lot of nervness and deep thoughts. All of the preliminary things are done. Last night Rikki and I sat down with Kate to dinner. She told us she hoped her marriage lasted as long as ours. (24 years and counting.) She thanked us for a magnificent childhood. And promised to raise her kids in a similar manner. I did something I don't normally do. I prayed along with them if there is a God I hope it blessed them . My girl married...as Rikki said the wheel turns...
