When will Biden FINALLY break his silence on the mysteries in the skies? Democrats and Republicans demand President address the crisis because people are 'freaked out'

(Excerpts)

Still, lawmakers wanted answers now.

'In its 65 year history NORAD Command never shot down an aircraft over U.S. airspace Over the 10 days they have shot down 1 balloon & 3 "objects,"' tweeted Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio. 'Americans need to hear directly about this from their President today.'

Rep. Jake LaTurner, a Kansas Republican, echoed that sentiment.

'The United States military shot down 3 more flying objects over the weekend. President Biden has said NOTHING,' LaTurner tweeted Monday. 'Americans deserve answers and transparency from their Commander-in-Chief.'

REVEALED: USAF's $400k F-16 missile MISSED its first attempt to shoot down Lake Huron UFO - as it emerges 'small metallic balloon' had PAYLOAD underneath and flew over 'sensitive sites'

'Small metallic balloon' shot down over Michigan had a PAYLOAD under it

The 'small, metallic balloon' that was floating near Michigan reportedly cost the US government nearly a million dollars' worth of missiles (right, the plane that shot it down with a missing missile) to shoot down. A USAF F-16 missed on its first attempt to shoot down the balloon floating over Lake Huron. It then fired a second Sidewinder AIM-9X missile (inset, file photo) that hit the target. Each Sidewinder costs around $400,000. The unidentified flying object was described by a Pentagon memo as a 'small, metallic balloon with a tethered payload below it.' The object soared near the eastern portion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula over Lake Huron, crossed near 'US sensitive sites' before it was taken out. The details came out as the White House laughed at claims aliens were involved after the Pentagon refused to rule out the objects could be linked to extraterrestrials. It also follows three other objects being spotted over the US, including one that was shot down over the South Carolina coast.

The media attention may be the whole point.
When I heard about the one in Alaska, the one the size of a small car, it seemed like they could have just popped it and gone about bidness like it was a routine exercise. It's not like there would be a lot of people seeing it at that altitude, in them parts.

I stopped by on my way home this afternoon and stocked up on popcorn.

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines on Monday accused a Chinese coast guard ship of hitting a Philippine coast guard vessel with a military-grade laser and temporarily blinding some of its crew in the disputed South China Sea, calling it a "blatant" violation of Manila's sovereign rights.
The Chinese ship also maneuvered dangerously close, about 137 meters (449 feet), to block the Philippine patrol vessel BRP Malapascua from approaching Second Thomas Shoal, a submerged reef that has been occupied by Philippine forces, on Feb. 6, the Philippine coast guard said in a statement.
The Philippines has filed nearly 200 diplomatic protests against China's aggressive actions in the disputed waters in 2022 alone.

Philippines boosts military presence in South China Sea

China claims the South China Sea virtually in its entirety, putting it on a collision course with other claimants. Despite friendly overtures to Beijing by former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and his successor, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who met Chinese leader Xi Jinping in January in Beijing, tensions have persisted, drawing in closer military alliance between the Philippines and the U.S.
Although the Chinese coast guard had tried to block Philippine coast guard ships in the disputed waters before, this was the first time it used lasers and caused physical suffering among Filipino personnel, Philippine coast guard spokesperson Commodore Armand Balilo told The Associated Press.

There was no immediate comment from the Chinese Embassy in Manila.
"The Chinese ship illuminated the green laser light twice toward the BRP Malapascua, causing temporary blindness to her crew at the bridge," the Philippine statement said.
The Philippine vessel was forced to move away from the area, where it was escorting a supply vessel that was delivering food and sailors to a Philippine navy sentry ship, the BRP Sierra Madre, which has been marooned on Second Thomas Shoal since 1999, the coast guard said.
"The deliberate blocking of the Philippine government ships to deliver food and supplies to our military personnel on board the BRP Sierra Madre is a blatant disregard for, and a clear violation of, Philippine sovereign rights in this part of the West Philippine Sea," the coast guard said, using the name the Philippines has adopted for the stretch of waters close to its western coast.
It was not immediately clear if the Philippine resupply mission pushed through despite the incident.
The Chinese coast guard also blocked Philippine ships escorting a supply vessel from approaching Second Thomas Shoal in August, the coast guard said.
In the latest incident, one of the two Chinese ships that were joined by two Chinese civilian vessels removed the cover of its 70mm armament, the coast guard said, adding it would not be deterred by China's aggression in protecting Philippine sovereignty in the disputed sea.
Aside from China and the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan and Brunei also have overlapping claims in the resource-rich and busy waterway, where a bulk of the world's commerce and oil transits.
The United States lays no claims to the disputed sea but has deployed forces to patrol the waters to promote freedom of navigation and overflight — moves that have angered Beijing, which has warned Washington to stop meddling in what it says is a purely Asian dispute.
The U.S. Navy and Marine Corps held joint exercises in the South China Sea over the weekend at a time of heightened tensions with Beijing over the shooting down of a suspected Chinese spy balloon. The U.S. has been taking steps to rebuild its military might in the Philippines more than 30 years after the closure of its large bases in the country and reinforcing an arc of military alliances in Asia.

As above, so bellow
Well, well, now Chinese are saying that US balloons had been flying over their territory for years and that they are going to start shooting them down on the same basis that US shoots theirs.

Basically this is all just posturing and warmongering between the two most powerful countries. Or, as anthropologists would call it . . . monkey business.

Not a productive way to increase welfare of the mankind as whole and benefit from opportunities that new technologies give to all of us.

Maybe this is why Biden is so quiet about what he shot down, afraid to look like a fool for shooting down civilian toys...

Bottlecap Balloon Brigade - an Illinois hobby group - claims its $13 weather balloon last pinged near Yukon on February 10 - hours before F-22 brought down UFO in SAME area with $400k missile

Did Joe Biden shoot down hobbyists $12 balloon with a $380,000 missile?
A mystery object shot down by U.S. fighter jets amid ongoing hysteria sparked by a Chinese 'spy' balloon may have been a $12 inflatable launched by a hobby group in Illinois. The Northern Illinois Bottlecap Balloon Brigade (NIBBB) reported one of its balloons went 'missing in action' around the same location - and at the time time - a U.S. Air Force jet downed an unidentified object near Alaska using a $380,000 sidewinder missile. NIBBB said its 'K9YO' balloon last reported its location shortly before 1am on Saturday, February 11, near the coast of southwest Alaska. Later on Saturday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau declared an 'unidentified object' was downed over Canada's Yukon territory, several hundred miles from K9YO's last known location. Modeling shared by NIBBB shows its balloon was headed in the direction of Yukon before it vanished - and opens up the possibility it was one of the suspicious objects down by the U.S. military.

You know, there is a very different message that got sent that I'm sure our near peers got just fine.

NORAD can detect something that small and destroy it.

This sickens me..we scrambled jets..we used $450k missiles on a $12 balloon. Meanwhile unknown craft far in advance of us are seen daily

At the time people were clamoring to have those things shot down and recovered, now they're just buffoons. Hindsight's always clear. I don't look at it that way - we don't know what the real story is because the media is a big electronic colon. It took some skill to do this and as far as the actual Chinese balloon goes I'm sure we gleaned quite a lot from that thing and will continue to do so.

Fact is, NORAD can see stuff that small and do something about it. The one over Lake Huron got taken down with a missile with an inert warhead. You go poke a hole in a balloon with a big pole from a fighter jet and tell me how easy that is. Believe me, our near peer adversaries took note. You can also see the media insanity over these things and I sincerely doubt anyone really believed it was ET. Maybe for once we get to see the UFO phenomenon from the p.o.v of the military; it's no wonder they deny all that. An adversary really could use the hysteria to gain advantage depending on what they were up to. Imagine the uproar if it really was some freaky tic-tac that we couldn't do anything about. Again, maybe that's the source of the institutional denial.

We have started multiple wars to fuel the Military Industrial Complex. We have a wonderful one in progress right now that we don't even have to get our hands too dirty for. Plenty of business for arms manufacturers - of which we are the biggest one. Go figure, quite the coincidence, eh? We always seem to find something our media morals need to blow up. You know what the people in East Palestine Ohio need to do ? Invade Pennsylvania a little bit and start talking about MAGA transgender asylum seeking Nazis and then they'll have the entire Biden administration in town making a big ****ing pancake breakfast for everyone.
