I'm from Southeast Asia. Here seasons don't exist. Many of us don't know much about season, we only come to know about it from friends form other countries who have seasons and from watching movies.

Here in western Canada, winter starts with a snow fall around the end of October. It can, and it is not uncommon, for it to snow right up until the middle of May. If we are lucky, it will start to melt at the end of March.

Haha. I don't blame you. My ex wife was from Tupper Lake. I once went there for a week during deep winter and I will never do that again.
