As Above So Below
2.83% ... so what don't you buy?
As I showed in the attachment I uploaded, (to which this attachment is an updated image) I prefer to look at the closed cases only to gauge the percentage of deaths thus far...To me this is the most logical view to take because we do not know which of those currently infected are going to have a happy ending or not...Also we cannot, (in my opinion) count those who have not been infected yet for the same reason...This percentage does fluctuate some, because some months we've had a higher death rate than others, but we are seeing real hard numbers, closed cases instead of one consisting of estimates...Also I might add I have little doubt there are more closed cases that aren't included, not everyone in the world are reporting accurately and inclusively of the whole population, so really any approach to gauge a rate of death isn't wholly precise...
so where did your 3640 per day that you posted earlier come from?
1,092,210 covid deaths worldwide at the time of me writing that post and I was rounding off the pandemic at 10 full months, however October hasn't completed yet and there were no western deaths from covid in January, so the number of 3640 is an arbitrary number I was using to show how far off the chart you posted was in its accuracy...
