So no begging emails since Monday?...
...
No he did send one yesterday, Wednesday. "You can help save my future!"
I missed that one then, I didn't see it posted here...
...
Through the years, I’ve also been harassed by a pack of cyberbullies that has also contacted potential donors, guests and advertisers and asked them to stay away from me. Recently, one of my outside employers was contacted with a bogus complaint.
red pill junkie is on soon any one know him to let him know the truth?
Thanks, so many posts yesterday I missed that one lol...
So having bald tires on his car that would put passengers in his riding sharing gig at risk is a bogus complaint?...Would he rather get into a car accident and possibly injure his passengers seriously or risk death?...
Sometimes I wonder if he reads what he writes...
...
It’s a “bogus complaint” because someone reported to it Uber/Lyft and Steinberg had to deal with it or not drive passengers otherwise. He doesn’t have enough common sense to know he is endangering others by his callous actions. It’s all about raking in the money. Everyone else be damned. In two emails he put out that his worn tires were a dire problem. "Everything is collapsing!" if I recall. Yet when someone reports he may be driving on unsafe tires, allegedly merely by passing along Gene's emails to Uber, it's a "bogus complaint". Perhaps bogus only in the sense that he wasn't actually attempting to drive on those supposedly worn out tires? Unevenly worn tires at that! He was very concerned with that point. He needed your money not just for tires, but for an alignment as well. No one else runs into these kind of expenses. No one who claims to make part of their living by driving has to budget for routine car maintenance and normal wear and tear. This was an unforeseen crisis no one could have expected him to prepare for. Everything was collapsing.
These so called “Friends of the show” have to know what Steinberg is all about. There too many other websites talking about Steinberg’s begging. You would have to assume these guests don’t care. They are more interested in shilling their books and other products.
Perhaps these guests know the seedy nature of those who inhabit the world of Ufology. It’s part and parcel of doing business so they don’t look too hard at who is interviewing them.Something like that. Sharon Hill claimed she wouldn't get any kind of book sale boost from doing the Paracast, and that she gets so many requests to do podcast interviews she doesn't have time to look into how unsavory a particular host might be. Sooo... I don't know what she felt she'd get out of it. She's just one example I suppose.
My own experience with getting guests for podcasts (circa 2008-2009) was that it was waaaay easier to get someone to come on for an interview if they had a book or something to promote. "Skin in the game", is how I would think about it. Yes sometimes you could get other folks but so often the pool of available guests seemed crowded with folks who wanted to promote themselves. Other folks just didn't have the interest in spending the time. Seemed understandable to me, though could be frustrating.
Perhaps the paranormal is a topic area where people are used to giving one another the benefit of a doubt. I think it's usually more of a question for guests than hosts however. But if you're making all or part of your living in this field, such as it is, you have probably become accustomed to giving others the benefit of a doubt and not calling them crazy or a fraud (not in every case but, pretty regularly I imagine). So maybe the same lack of passing judgment comes into play when people are told they should not support Gene by going on his show?
