Yes sir, Paracast forum, in the thread where Gene requests Shea Olmsford "stop lying about him" in other forums.
So I guess the program will be, Shea Olmsford needs to remove any of his posts Gene regards as lies. For others though, consequences for their 'criminal actions'. I guess we'll see.

It's exactly how he operates, so I know which way I'd bet. He got reminded that his turning off a paid service isn't just petty and vindictive, but illegal, so he dreamed up some bullshit way to "fix" it while blaming others. Now he's just blowing smoke. Classic GS behavior.

The part you missed is that he has been asking for donations for at least 12+ years for a never ending series of emergencies that cynical people believe to be contrived. In other words, he is asking for money under false pretenses. This may not be illegal, since he isn't a recognized charity or lottery, but he is playing on the goodness of strangers to make a living. That money could have gone to a legitimate charity that helps many people.

On a final note my wife and I went to a seminar called "financial peace " it's run by Dave Ramsey.
It brought us toghter. made our money work. I highly recommend it to Gene.

Does Gene know who you are? Your words have weight with us because you were once a total Gene supporter and had "power" at the Paracast as a moderator. I don't know if you ever co-hosted, but you defended Gene. But your entire outlook collapsed, not because of lies, as Gene contends, but because people were sharing a factual history of Gene's emails over at least a decade constantly begging due to 1 contrived emergency after another.
But Gene doesn't seem to realize that all of us have such emergencies but we do not make them our chosen life style. I drive a 12 year old car, does Gene? I just had to have a total refurbishing job on the car that cost over $2200 in April. Did I beg for money? No. I had thyroid cancer. I needed to have the thyroid removed and have radiation treatment in May. Did I beg for money? No. Medicare paid for most of the bills and supplemental Plan G coverage paid most of the rest. Why in the world would anyone "old" not have supplemental Plan F or G coverage? Where is Gene putting his money? Into luxury apartments instead of family health insurance? Into eating out (per David Biedny) every night?
Gene has a right to run his own life. I just disagree, as do many others, with how he is running that life. This is not lies, just opinion. Many of us have crises in our lives. We were taught to man up and deal with it. I have no family or close friends to bail me out and I have never begged for money on the internet. As part of the boomer generation, I dealt with life the old fashioned way. That means I worked hard for 30 years, saving as much money as possible for emergencies and old age. It seems that Gene did not do this when our generation is perhaps the last that had the ability to do this. With the ascendancy of neo-liberalism and right wing control, the younger generations will not have this ability. But there is really no excuse for a baby boomer to have not saved a penny.

Many ancient truths and metaphysical teachings emphasize that we need 2 traits to be truly aware.

Love without Wisdom is gullible, blind and foolish. This accounts for all the people who mindlessly adore a particular guru, celebrity, politician, cult or even mainstream religious dogma.
Love Needs Wisdom to see reality as it is in all its beauty AND ugliness. Love without Wisdom (Discernment) makes fools of us.

I'm a lurker to this, and a person with a longtime interest in the legitimate aspects of the field, however minute it is these days. I just wanted to comment on a few things, as I listened to The Paracast off and on for a while, but won't any longer. From reading the back and forth through the various blogs, forums, and social media there's a few things that need to be said. I don't want to see anyone go homeless or broke, but you have to own up to your own actions and make amends to decide to go forward. I'm sure he's lurking, so here is something better than a solicitation of money - advice to get out of this mess:
1 - First should be apologizing to others, to his two former co-hosts who left the show, and those who he's solicited donation or borrowed money from. Not to mention the history of court judgements in the double digits that he's apparently been connected to. Denial and externalizing everything on a million different things does nothing. TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THE SITUATION. Everyone has a bad beat, but for this to go on 12+ years now, it's time to look in the mirror and get a grip for your own salvation.
2 - There are people willing to help, but it's completely unreasonable to be completely non-transparent about your finances and also ask for money. I will tell you, if I am ever in the situation where I have to rely on the support of strangers, I'm keeping every receipt, I'm counting every penny, and watching every single thing I do and living on a skeleton budget.
I don't mind someone who is LEGITIMATELY trying their hardest to avoid costs and work their butt off. If someone said 'hey I'm in a bad spot, this is my revenue, these are my expenses, what do I do?' But how forthcoming has he been? How often has his weekly expenses been shown? His former co-host said he eats out every week, and previously leased a vehicle. I mean, seriously? How much is spent on food, vehicle, rent, etc every month? I read from a court posting that his eviction costs were four digits. Four digits for rent? How can someone POSSIBLY justify donations for someone this isn't willing to cut his own costs. Lets start with this:
phoenix apts/housing for rent "mesa" - craigslist
Craigslist search, apartments in Arizona, with a max rent of $700. If you have to cram into a studio or small 1br, then so be it. If you have to take the dog to the kennel or give him away, so be it. If you have to drive a clunker 90s vehicle, so be it. I used to drive a 91 Oldsmobile with a blown head gasket that damn near killed me to get by at one point. I used to donate plasma for $60 bucks a week. If you have to live on ramen noodles and spaghetti for a year, so be it. THESE are the steps you take to turn things around. Relentlessness and grinding. Not going eviction to eviction refusing to lower your standard of living off of the backs of others.
3 - Finally, it's 2018. It's completely unreasonable to expect with thousands of podcasts out there, to make any sort of living off of a podcast to a niche group of people. Honestly, Gene has been extremely fortunate to be able to start one years earlier before this became a boom industry and get anything out of it. Most people do this as a HOBBY and do it just as well as you do, and get paid nothing. Uber and Lyft are not meaningful jobs, they're also hobby positions for people to earn a little extra income. I do not know how podcasting and ride sharing is supposed to be considered a meaningful source of income.
If I were in that position, I would swallow my pride and do anything to get out of it. Start with this:

Right there is a Wal-Mart position near the area, become a greeter. Their minimum wage is at least $11 an hour, and near the West Coast I'm guessing maybe more. I see people upwards of their age in the 80s working locally. Even on a conservative 30 hour workweek at $11 an hour, that's $1320 a month - and almost all of that money would be exempt from any garnishments or taxes, and would qualify for an Earned Income Tax Credit at the end of the year, as well as be proof of revenue for food stamps. That's not even counting keeping the podcast going and revenue from that, and doing what you can with ride sharing at other times.
Start with that, email and call ten places from Craigslist with $700 and under rent, show me your grocery cost for the week, and a couple of applications to Wal-Mart, Target, or wherever and I will throw in my own money to help you out. You can't expect to rely on the generosity of others while not being willing to help yourself and be transparent about your costs.
What I've just explained is a completely and totally reasonable solution to your problem. I didn't say easy, but it's a solution, and you would probably garner more sympathy showing a willingness to be transparent, cut expenses, and go to a place of employment on a payroll for people to help you in the future.

Another option if you are destitute is to rent or work out a deal to buy an old trailer in a trailer park community. Yes, I am sure that Gene would probably consider this just too low class for his dignity, but it would allow him to keep his dog and have his own place while he builds up equity and accumulates some cash. I just surfed the Phoenix area listings and there was a trailer for sale for $380 a month with no money down. I am sure it is no palace, but if you are so desperate that you have made begging your income source for 12+ years, you might consider such a course. Then you could pocket all the money you are paying for a luxury apartment in Gilbert, stay home and cook your own meals, and purchase a Medicare Supplemental Insurance Plan F or G policy to take care of Barbara's medical expenses. This stuff isn't rocket science. Boomers, who are most often children of the Great Depression generation, should know all about cutting corners. My parents were very poor and we all lived in a 900 square foot cottage. They scrimped and saved while giving us good clothes, good food and college (before college became a major profit center). When they died, they had over $1 MILLION in savings because they never lived beyond their means. NEVER. God bless the Great Depression Generation (which also saved us in World War 2).

I agree. Even Art Bell was one of the most listened to radio broadcasters in the entire country doing it while living out of a trailer. There's nothing wrong with living in a trailer. As a minimalist myself, I somewhat envy the freedom of doing that out West.

Why? Looking back at your posts and cross referencing with Paracast forums, it looks like an apology or censorship is demanded of you.
You know a good way to tell when someone is in the wrong? When they immediately pull the authoritarianism card. Censorship, what-about-ism, control. Vague blame on a band of haters or other group, instead of looking in the mirror and taking responsibility. It's all very Trump-istic, Stalin-istic. A 'just' personality does not have to resort to that.
I've looked back on this page and noticed a couple other of people who made reasonable posts who were deleted and banned. The former co-host was apparently banned. I'm sure there are others that didn't even bother to mention it, their last post was probably deleted and they were banned for speaking out. Just don't go back there, it's that simple. If you need UFO related forums, use this one, use Above Top Secret, and even the UFO subreddit has a ton of posts. You don't need to lower yourself to an unjust personality just to exist in a dying online community.
