Finished The New Batman Adventures. Have just begun its successor, Batman Beyond. In the past, I was turned off by the unique costume and the fact this Batman is not Bruce Wayne. But I have since developed a more expansive attitude. I now appreciate the logic of depicting Batman once Bruce Wayne had become too old. Probably also watching several Robins come and go softened me up as well.

So far, it looks good. And I'm looking forward to seeing the bat-tech of the future.
I doubt many are aware that the debut of the Justice League in the DCAU was in Batman Beyond. It was called the JLU, but it was different than both the regular Justice League Unlimited and The Legion of Super Heroes from the future. It appears in the impressive two-parter, The Call. HBO Max is the only official place to view it as far as I know.
Superman comes for a visit to offer Terry membership in the Justice League. Superman needs Batman's help to find a traitor in the League.
The guy in the black and white suit is Superman.

I'm on the fence, I agree with one of the comments that the MCU should hsve taken a pause after Endgame before churning out more movies...

‘Irredeemable’ ‘Batgirl’ movie gets ‘shelved’ by Warner Bros. despite $70M price tag

The DC Comics film “Batgirl” will be completely “shelved” by Warner Bros., a top Hollywood source told The Post. That means it won’t hit theaters or the streaming service HBO Max. Fans will not see it.

The reportedly $70 million movie (the source said the budget was actually more than $100 million), which was doing test screenings for audiences in anticipation of a late 2022 debut, would rank among the most expensive cinematic castoffs ever.

Those tests were said to be so poorly received by moviegoers that the studio decided to cut its losses and run, for the sake of the brand’s future.

It’s a DC disaster.

“They think an unspeakable ‘Batgirl’ is going to be irredeemable,” the source said. The Post has reached out to Warner Bros. for comment.

It’s been a monthslong walk of shame for the movie. “Batgirl,” directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (“Bad Boys for Life”), received not a single mention at DC’s Comic-Con panel in San Diego in July — an unusual move that raised industry eyebrows. The much-publicized event, after all, is designed to boost exposure for forthcoming projects just like this one.

Completed the Batman Beyond series, including the movie Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. Both were very good. Later came the conclusive finale of the series, namely the Justice league Unlimited episode, Epilogue. In the latter, it is revealed that
Terry, the youthful successor to the original Batman, is a clone (or half-clone?) of Bruce Wayne, courtesy of the illegal machinations of Amanda Waller.

Static Shock
and The Zeta Project are both spinoffs from Batman Beyond, but as the connection is weak, I'm not going to watch them right away. Next up, The Batman. It is set in the present, and features a relatively young Bruce Wayne beginning in just the third year of his Batman career.

Right away, the animation noticeably resembles a comic book.
