Senator Patrick Leahy is the voice actor for the governor character in the Batman TAS episode, Showdown. He also has had small cameo appearances in the live-action films Batman Forever, Batman and Robin, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises.
Finished The Dark Knight Rises over a week ago. A worthy finale to the trilogy, 9/10. I'm a little over an hour in and have succeeded at extracting a clip in which Patrick Leahy has his cameo speaking part.
(My first time clipping a video and first time uploading an Mp4. Let's see if it works.)

Finished The Dark Knight Rises over a week ago. A worthy finale to the trilogy, 9/10. The only thing about it that I didn't fully like was the ending, which was confusing. It has Bruce Wayne seemingly retire permanently, and suggests that Robin John Blake will become the new Batman. This is pretty much impossible for a Batman of the present day, but I guess it should just be regarded as belonging to a version of the Nolanverse.
Next up, Beware the Batman. It is distinctive for being computer-animated, as well as for being pulled from Cartoon Network mid-season. (It was later aired during Adult Swim.) I doubt that I will love 2013 CGI, as I don't even love 2022 CGI! Other distinctive aspects of the show is its focus is on less popular villains, and Katana as Batman's partner/sidekick.
Anyway, I will update my AV presently.

Thus far, Gordan is ambivalent toward Batman and they are not allies.Quick comment. Alfred is younger, tougher, and bald. He trains Batman.
Switching AV to this Alfred because he's cool.Quick comment. Alfred is younger, tougher, and bald. He trains Batman.
I finished the series. It's very good, with interesting stories. IMO, almost everyone hating on it is just because they can't get past the computer animation. The way I look at it, it's something unique and should be appreciated for it's distinctiveness. There's Lego Batman out there, isn't there?Next up, Beware the Batman. Convinced myself to give Lego Batman a chance. Already watched Lego Batman: The Movie - DC Super Heroes Unite. Now watching, The Lego Movie. (Batman's a secondary character within it.) Too soon to appraise the second, but the first was fun. There's Lego Batman out there, isn't there?
