Allcall W1 Smartwatch.

So I ordered a smartwatch a while back, I mostly love the damned thing. I've completely crashed it once, Destroyed the firmware So I had to put another ROM on it, This second Firmware seems a great deal more stable and I've literally been able to do things with this watch, I never thought a smartwatch could do,

I've been able to pair Bluetooth gamepads to it, While running emulators, While Get this, Casting to my Tv, But the battery life only lasts about an hour when I do this.

I've set up up team viewer on the watch and on every device I have in my home and from my watch, I can fully control every device in the house, This includes Laptops, My phone My other android box. It's pretty handy.

The problem is, I don't know how many of you have smart watches, But When I really make this watch put out the power, It gets hot, Like really really hot, You could literally break an egg on it, And I promise the egg would turn white.

My thing is, I know this is normal in some electronics, But I'm wearing this damned thing on my wrist and it literally gets that hot.

Is this a normal thing for smartwatches? Yeah, I know it's a watch, it's not really meant to do the things I do with it. But still, Something someone wears on their wrist shouldn't really get this hot should it? Is my watch defective?

Hahahah.. I don’t think anyone taxes the hell out of a cpu the way you do, so I doubt the heat gets that noticed by others who may have the same watch. Lol.

You're probably right, I'm probably the only person out there who pushes a quad-core like that, just to see how far it can be pushed..

Still, You guys would be surprised What you can push one to do though. :victory:

Personally, I have an analogue watch. A rugged old diving watch. I DONT DIVE MUCH ANY MORE, BUT IT HAS OVER 200 dives on it, and served as a backup timer in case the computer failed. Time is critical in diving.

It is stainless steel and fashionable enough to wear every day, so it is like a piece of jewelry for me. I HAVE WORN IT EVERY DAY FOR 15 years. Hehe.

I used a Polar Heart monitor watch when training for a marathon 17 years ago, but after that, I learned to gauge my effort by my breathing and I didn’t need it anymore.

I didn’t wear a timer of any kind when I did my Half Marathon last week, and I found it more enjoyable to just breathe and jog a comfortable pace without beeping equipment attached to my chest and wrist.

Technology is fun to play with, but nowadays all I want to do is relax, read, or watch shows on my IPad mini.
I have never tried to find all the neat things I can do with it. Heheh.

I've always wanted to Dive, Some of the most beautiful places on earth can only be seen if you are an experienced diver,

I always wanted to go here to the crystal caves, This one is in the Bahamas...

That' right there, That's the most awesome place on earth right there.

Oh... in Iceland you can dive a techtonic crack and touch the solid rock on both sides at same time. I HAVENT DONE IT YET... But maybe later...

Local to me, there is a crystal clear spring where water boils up from the sand beside the solid rock fault line. I have dove that. Hehe. I have not done cave diving... I always want to see the surface of the water...

That does sound awesome :D THe only place local we have to dive here is a massive lake called dale hollow, But it is interesting, because when they filled the lake they covered a small old town, So there are lots of things to see in it :D

I actually have had several jobs that paid me for my idea, my first was drawing a comic strip for my hometowns local newspaper.

Later on, They paid me to create a crossword puzzle section and then they wanted to hire me full time as the media editor for the page face, You would think that would have been a great job, It probably would have been but at that time I was off to college hoping to be the next carl Segan, Yeah, That never happened lol. Ultimately, No one really knows this, I'm so severely bipolar, It's quite debilitating. If people really know how bad it was, That I actually had conversations with other personalities, They would get judgy. Even the most intelligent person that ever lived is susceptible to mental illness.
Maybe more so, But, in my case, My Bipolar condition is so severe, people can tell something is wrong or different by how I am acting and the expressions I use. It's dominated my entire life.

Because of this, I really can't hold a job for long, Sure, I can be me several days, Maybe a month long, But eventually, I will show up to work have an episode, get shitty with people and lose that job.

You would think this would be something I could control better, I do try really hard, But, you can only act so normal when you are having one of those episodes.

:/ it sucks yeah, But, I've somehow managed to live a blessed life, And even somehow come out ahead, I worked as much as I could, I ended up eventually getting a huge disability settlement thanks to a very talented lawyer, I don't even know why I deserved it, But apparently the lawyer did. Then later I inherited honestly, I don't even know how much as most of it is locked in a Cd. But, I say this because, If it wasn't for blessings and Just Blind luck, My life could have been very very different.

A lot of brilliant people have mental or substance problems. It seems people have to go somewhat insane to discover new facets of reality.

Ah, In fairness though, The only thing unique about me is my boldness and tendency to admit things about myself, that others never would, I promise, in a crowd of ten people, Eight of those people have some form of mental issue. It honestly brings to question what Normal really is, and if what we perceive as normality is actually so statistically rare that it's abnormal.

But Nah, You would love me in person, Most people do, I'm not like the person people know here in reality, I'm very refined tend to be overly polite, and when I do have episodes, I tend to disappear rather than face people, Imagine this, I've been married to my wife Sam, for seven years now, We have never had a huge fight and I only ever had one episode with her present.

When you truly get to know me, And all the intricacies of me, You'd probably love me, Most people does brother :)

Yes, I am Bipolar, But, Online is a saving grace. It's an outlet for me, that allows me to focus my efforts somewhere else and not on the people in my real world. when episodes do happen.

I have actually learned to be more open with people, just from your examples here... strangers laugh because they strike conversation and I say things that are honestly how my brain thinks...
The Lady at the store stood beside me when we were looking at cooked pork tenderloins in the hot case, “Wow look at the size of THOSE!”

Me, “Yeah, I feel all porky just looking at it.”

Stuff like that...

I love it, I laughed so hard it went down kinda like this when I read it.

I actually did fall, luckily, I fell on a bean bag that happened to behind me. I keep those around because my dogs like to sleep at my feet. Come to think of it, Luckily one of the Dogs wasn't in it at the time, Still though. Mad props, It's always the right thing to say, passing a woman in the supermarket, Wow look at the size of those :D

I know I would say it :D I love it :p

I was about 3/4 of the way through my Half Marathon last weekend, we were crossing a large intersection with police guiding us through a red light.

I turned to he lady running beside me, “How often do you get to run a red light light right in front of the cops and get away with it?”

That one wasn’t as funny, but I am just more open that way... an officer smiled, the lady smiled... so little rewards like that are worth being friendly with folks...
