You are welcome brother, If It's any consolation to you, I have heard that most Covid-19 tests by far come back Negative.

My Dad thought he had it, And went to the doctor and it turned out he had the ordinary Flu, It's so many times over, Much more likely that you would have the Flu A or B right now, It is the season for that.

I hope this brings you some comfort, I Wish for you And your Wife, The Best brother, And also, From my heart, Know, That Even if the worst news is possible. Most people Do pull through this, From MY heart, I wish you guys the best.
Just found out my wifes test came back NEG, so they will take her off the machine now, they had to keep her on it till results came back. so its been since tuesday night, since i`ve talked to her, cant wait..once i do that i will feel tons better.

Enjoy the peace of mind, And If I can offer it, Remember This may sound like something corny that some willy Wonka might say, But that's because it's such ancient wisdom it's often overlooked.

Focus on the Light, The happy, The positive, If you only focus only on the Dark, one can become lost and fearful.

This is what Light looks like, This man is 95, He Survived the great depression, ww2, and the Coronavirus.

This coronavirus pandemic started in China. Did you read a single story about China needing ventilators and masks over the last 3 months? There are 1.4 billion people in China and every single one of them is wearing a mask in public. Yet here, our healthcare workers can’t find any to wear.

Now, we have to go hat in hand to China and ask for ventilators, masks, and other PPEs. How can we be this helpless? Aren’t you disgusted by this? I am furious. The republican politicians failed us. The democrats failed us. We need a completely new mindset.

You understand that we have to spend $2.2 trillion on a bailout package because we couldn’t take action on January 3rd the same way Singapore took action, or we couldn’t impose a total travel ban because our hospitality industry might get hurt. Well, now we practically imposed a similar travel ban after the horse bolted out of the barn. The new coronavirus is still spreading like a wildfire in several of our states, and their governors can’t put their states under a lockdown because it isn’t "practical".

You know what? They will have to do it sooner or later. If Chinese dictators can’t turn a blind eye to this COVID-19 menace, democratically elected governors can’t do it either. By delaying the response, they are giving the new coronavirus more time to spread.

New York's death rate leaps to new high: Cuomo reveals 23 people died every HOUR over last 24hrs - 562 in a day - bringing the total to 2,935 with more than 100,000 infections

The coronavirus death toll across the state of New York has risen by 562 in just 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 2,935, and the number of infections has gone past 100,000.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo revealed the startling new figures at a press conference on Friday morning where he pleaded with the other states to send help before the pandemic peaks.

Overnight, the death toll rose from 2,373 to 2,935 - the single highest increase in a day yet and the equivalent of 23 people dying every hour. The number of cases went up by 10,482 to 102,863.

More people have now died across the state of New York as a result of the coronavirus than were killed in New York City in the Twin Towers attacks on 9/11. That day, 2,753 died in New York and an additional 224 died in the attacks on the Pentagon and on United Flight 93.

The rapid rise in US coronavirus cases: America now has DOUBLE the number of infections as Europe epicenter Spain and is reporting five times as many illnesses as China did during its peak

A new graph shows the US continues to outpace every other country in coronavirus cases as the pandemic spreads (top). The US has 245,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus (bottom)., twice as many as Spain, the country with the second-highest number of cases at 117,000. Just 20 days after the first case of COVID-19 was reported, America had more than 20,000 cases. Over the same time period, Spain had around 7,000, Italy and the UK had under 5,000 and Iran had about 1,000. The US is reporting five times as many cases as China did during its peak. Models suggest America is 12 to 13 days away from its peak of deaths, and hospital beds and ventilators needed.

Damn, Though this does make me feel less bad about the Arguments I and Sam have been having. See, She doesn't understand why I don't want to be kissing on her before and after work right now, So she guilt trips me into it.

Which leads to more arguments. I know, That probably sounds insane. But I'm willing to bet arguments like this are occurring all over the U.S right now in domestic situations. Like things weren't stressful enough already.

And No, I see where you guys are coming from with this, It is insane, She should not be wanting to do this right now, It seems Negligent or even like its harassment I agree. That's why we argue about it. She should fully understand without guilt trips That it's not a really kissy time right now with her working a public job.

Okay, Enough of My bitching, Still, Everyone's having an off time right now, To go back on topic. The scariest part of this pandemic for me, Comes from how deeply I'm studying the subject. people think it's bad now, And it is, But from my studies I've discovered Historically, Pandemics come in Waves. This is a rather scary article from 2009 about pandemics And how they function in waves, I warn you, This article will suck your soul right out, It's fearful to even consider, So, This is that warning. , The way it reads, We should all be praising the heavens right now about how great things are because the second wave is going to be unimaginably bad.

Here is a link about that, Pandemic waves

Historically the Second wave is usually by far the worst. So, When they say it will be seasonal, And to expect this next year. They mean the second wave.

Again, The second wave is almost always worse because, by next year, That is literally ample time for this virus to mutate. Here is some of the Article for you guys that are on phone or tablets or such.
Pandemic waves
Friday 14 August 2009

An article in the_ Journal of the American Medical Association_ has questioned whether the prevailing belief that the current pandemic flu will return in a more dangerous second wave is justified. The authors also suggest that the second wave of the 1918 pandemic flu was less serious than first thought.

They say that unproven assumptions about the course of the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic may be leading to misconceptions of what the swine flu virus may do. They say that if summer weather in the northern hemisphere slows the spread of the virus, then when a second increase in cases (the wave) arrives in the autumn/winter, it is by no means certain that any increases in transmissibility or complication rates will occur.

The key points of the article are:

Based on the pattern of spread for 14 different influenza pandemics over the past 500 years, there is little evidence to support the likelihood of a second or third more lethal wave of H1N1 influenza.
The term “wave” entered into common use after the influenza pandemic that spread from Asia in 1889. Between 1890 and 1894 there were as many as four annual, seasonal peaks in mortality from flu reported after the main pandemic had passed.
The 1918 influenza pandemic was thought to have killed 50 million people worldwide. However, there is little evidence that the outbreak started with a first wave of milder illness followed by a second, more deadly wave when the virus mutated into a more transmissible and virulent form.
There is also little convincing evidence from the 1957 and 1968 pandemics to support the idea that viruses start out relatively mild before turning into more lethal mutations.
Where was the article published?
Dr David M Morens and Dr Jeffery K Taubenberger from the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases published this commentary in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

What does it say?
The authors say that the circulation of the swine flu virus in the northern hemisphere during the spring of 2009 has led to inevitable comparisons with the 1918 flu pandemic. In this commentary, they question this and say that changes in virulence or transmissibility of the current pandemic virus are not inevitable.

The authors state that there is a long-standing theory that as new viruses start to circulate in human populations, they mutate into versions with increased transmissibility and virulence. The prevailing scientific view is that the 1918 spring outbreaks of flu were mainly mild disease and represented a so-called “herald wave”. Scientists believe the virus then mutated over the summer, making the disease it caused more severe when it returned. This pattern of herald waves followed by seasonal waves was demonstrated in influenza and dengue fever in the early part of last century, around 1918. The authors say this theory is behind much of the aggressive public response to pandemics, and explains some of the planning assumptions behind many countries’ preparedness plans.

However, there are no virus samples from the spring wave of 1918 flu pandemic, the authors state, so there is no way to confirm that later outbreaks were caused by the same virus or that the virus changed to become more virulent. They say that it is speculation to assume what happened and that research to determine the true course of events has not been carried out or is confusing.

For example, they say the first documented wave of 1918 is often confusingly referred to as the “spring wave”, when it was actually a summer surge of influenza deaths concentrated in some, but not all, northern European countries between late June and August 1918. Additionally, they say that it is curious that, despite enormous wartime traffic, many English cities had a summer wave but France did not.

What they find most puzzling is that, during the 1918 pandemic, different countries had anything up to three waves and the course or timing of these in different countries in the same hemisphere varied greatly.

What do the researchers say?
Dr Taubenberger said, "I think every pandemic is completely different, it emerges in a different way. Its genetics are going to be different and the population immunity by age is going to be different depending on what the virus is. So I think it's very difficult to assume that a new pandemic is going to behave in a way like 1918."

The authors also say that there is a general tendency for pandemics quickly to assume annual seasonality in temperate zones. This means that the difference between a seasonal post-pandemic recurrence and a seasonal endemic recurrence seems to blur over time. This occurs as the immunity to the virus in the population increases and as the antigen composition (the surface molecules) of the viruses gradually change (drift) over time.

What is the implication and importance of this?
The authors acknowledge the difficulty of predicting the future course of this pandemic. They admit there is always a chance, however small, that the swine flu virus could mutate, with serious consequences for public health. This is the reason behind the prudent approach taken by international public health bodies.

They conclude by advising readers to remember that, as Kierkegaard said about life, influenza epidemics are lived forwards and understood backward.

The Queen will issue a rallying cry on Sunday in a rare address to the nation to boost morale after the UK announces 684 more coronavirus victims - taking the total death toll to 3,605

The Queen will issue a rallying cry to the nation on Sunday (left, in a call with Boris Johnson last week). In her first televised address on the coronavirus crisis, she is expected to say: ‘We are in this together – and we will all get through it together, too’.It is only the fifth time the 93-year-old monarch has made a broadcast outside of Christmas . She recorded the message at Windsor Castle, where she is living in isolation with her 98-year-old husband Philip. The four other times the Queen has made a special address were for the Gulf War, the death of Princess Diana, the death of the Queen Mother and her diamond jubilee.

Buckingham Palace declined to comment on the content in advance of the broadcast, but the Mail understands the Queen will emphasise togetherness, highlighting the nation’s cohesion in the face of adversity. She is also likely to praise health workers and all those who have been helping in the fight against Covid-19. It comes as Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he is 'feeling better' after suffering from coronavirus but will remain in self-isolation until his temperature drops. Meanwhile the Department of Health confirmed 684 more people have died in hospital after testing positive for the virus, bringing the total UK deaths to 3,605 (right).

Yep - the multinational corporations and our sycophantic politicians gutted our national security when they exported America's entire industrial sector to Communist China in order to turn a buck (eviscerating America's middle class in the process). Now even our healthcare workers can't get hold of the $1 respirators they need...and neither can we. Hell - has anyone here tried to buy hand sanitizer or hydrogen peroxide lately? I found some hydrogen peroxide on Amazon - a $1.30 pint bottle is now going for $13. Our entire system has failed, because our national leadership has been completely corrupted by corporate money for decades...so now the US is the epicenter of this pandemic and the entire country will be on its knees within 2 weeks (in many regards it already is) - we're being hit harder by this pandemic than any other nation on Earth. That's why the author of that article closed with this:

"Here is what I know. This isn’t going to be a shallow recession and our economy won’t snap back at the end of Q2 or in Q3. The system has to change fundamentally." [bold emphasis mine]

China’s Coronavirus Aid Expands Foreign Influence and Shifts Blame To U.S

China’s foreign coronavirus aid is boosting Beijing’s image with countries in need, analysts say, but the outreach is paired with spreading false narratives that blame the U.S. for starting the pandemic and hiding the severity of the outbreak at home. VOA’s Brian Padden reports on China’s outreach at a time when the U.S. is slowing some medical foreign aid on hold to focus on mitigating the outbreak in America first.

This would be considered a Terrorist attack, wouldn't it? I don't know the right way to deal with a situation like this.

Sometimes there isn't a right way, An example, When I was younger, About Twenty years old, This woman and her kid came to a party I was throwing, Her kid was a seventeen-year-old severely autistic young man, He grabbed a girl at the party forced her into his lap and put his hands down her pants. The mother freaked out trying to get everyone to stop saying our commotion was frightening him. And when he calmed down he would take his hands out of her pants.

The Girl was frightened and crying. The only solution was to treat the kid like he was doing the wrong that he was doing, I beat his face like someone would any sex offender ever. Sure enough, he took his hands out of her pants to defend his face. The mom freaked out and threatened to call the law. I gave her my phone And said be my guest, Your son is old enough to go to jail. It's about time he learned how cold a jail cell can be at night.

She left with her son without calling the law.

Sometimes, We have to do what we have to do to protect innocent people, Stupidity or ignorance isn't necessarily innocence. IF those people threaten to storm hospitals endangering patients and health care workers then they are terrorists. They should be met at the front door with force as though they were...

Our country will definitely be hit harder than any other, thus far...I hate to say this but I think the worst is yet to come and it won't be the United States taking the biggest hit for humanity, I think it will happen in India, I hope I'm wrong...They have 1.3 or so billion people and the virus has just begun gaining a foothold in that country...I really hope India can manage that storm coming, if not their losses will be far worse than any other country...

...

I think Sweden has screwed itself over. They have 4 times as much confirmed infections as us in Finland and over 17 times as much deaths, which will only get worse as they say their critical care capacity will likely fill up in about a week. And only now are they starting to think about more effective quarantine and closing measures... dear God.
